He had an option to not sign on and nuke his slot, and wait until his V/LA blows over. We would not have eliminated him.
This guy's here since 2008. He knows how to flake.

I don't think that always assuming the most logical move for scum is in fact the most accurate one.

Humans don't always make the best decisions, given emotion and etc.

But sure, if you guys don't agree, that's fine. I don't see myself moving at the moment anyways.

I have OopsieDaisy, Tweet and Klick as likely town.

Greeting and Roden are fine.

Null is pretty much most of: Elements, Emperor, Takutai, Furtive and HEM.

Scumlean is Karma.

Besides Karma, I'd need to re-evaluate my null group to see who is most likely to be scum.

My priority is slowly changing from "I'm going to get a read of each slot" to "I'm going to hit scum today".

In this instance, I believe there is a decent chance of Karma being scum.

So it would be interesting to see more opinions on the subject.

Unlike Geraint, Karma's uncooperative stance doesn't sound to me like ''town not caring about being eliminated'' but rather ''scum trying to create the false sense of towny bravado''.

The lack of reads in this context seems like a maneuver to avoid associations, not boldness. At least the way I see it.
The thing is I get your ick with the post, but that towny bravado is very real from my experience playing with Karma. He's very confident about his reads and tbf, he was 2 for 2 on em last game so I can see where that confidence comes from.

That's why I was kinda hoping he'd kick in before the V/LA and give us something that he feels passionate about, but alas it looks like we're not getting that :(

I'm not looking at his posts there and saying he's town, I think his complete lack of reads is something I'm concerned about because I would expect him to have something at this point, but he does have the excuse of being super busy to hide behind and his attitude itself isn't ringing alarm bells to me, so the slot's just sitting at null for me unfortunately.

I have already given some background on Daisy, although in recent pages my read is not as strong as it was at the beginning.

What sold me the most was the sincerity I noticed in some of her reactions and the way she went out of her way to explain herself, even under suspicion.

It's a kind of emotional read that I'm not always so successful at, but I'm usually give it some *value*.

Speaking of Tweet, I was a bit suspicious about her absence, even after the first few posts, but then she came back strong.

I do know she is an excellent player, but I feel that town!Tweet is much more evident than scum!Tweet, in the sense that her scumgame seems to me to be weakened and more icy, with superficial progressions and a certain lack of desire to play, something that at least I didn't see here.

About Klick, the suspicion about Daisy seemed too real to be a machination of scum!Klick.

Obviously, scum can also have legitimate reasons to suspect town but I don't think that was the case with him, especially for the vigor he put into trying to get the slot pressured.

Greeting, I enjoyed the short analysis about me. It seemed simple, organic and sincere. It's not all that great, but it was enough to make me comfortable.

Roden is almost a ghost in the game, but I confess that the
"good votes tbh"
comment right after the Karma votes was a cognitive punch that literally sustained a positive impression on its own, which gains more strength if Karma is scum (since Roden kept the vote on him for a long time before we even voted).

Hi Roden, this really caught me eye and I just wanted you to expound more about this because this seems like a key component of why you townread me.
Seeing your play as scum and looking at your scum PTs, you seem to be the one who'll come up with a plan or strategy and be the one pushing forward with that plan. Where as town I think you play more off the cuff, which for me makes it hard to tell when you're being honest because I'm not sure what you're doing.

So I guess I'd say that you focus on what you want to do as scum, while as town you hone in on particular things that pings you.

And in this game, would you be able to tell me which posts were you able to make that distinction? I'm quite narcissistic and I always want to be talked about.

Hum.. That's it. Overall, nothing too elaborate or that I would judge as failsafe.

It's very easy for me to be wrong about someone, which is why my impressions are constantly evolving.

Except for my scumlean right now, where I need some direct action from him to understand if I'm wrong or not.

Unless someone convinces me that I'm chasing a dead end.
