It's just that I was reading posts and it felt so out of place that at first I thought is a soft claim someway but this seems really directed in a way that is unsettling considering he is not your top tr or some thing either.

Once we have a dedicated town core then I believe trying to only put the town core into the Nightmare would be the best choice.
But we don't have a dedicated town core yet.

And hear me out, but there's going to be something keeping us from just using the vig invention from the nightmare as a second elimination. Scum having a doctor or such, rendering it unusable in that case if scum are in the nightmare. (If perhaps semi-confirming the targeted player to be scum.)

Giving people IC sounds like a good proposal since even scum that knows about it can't fake that... unless it's ruled that in this game Normal ICs are only confirmed at game start as opposed to confirm on request as both of those variations are Normal-valid. In which case it's then useless. Let me do a look over the other bits and see what I can figure out though...

So with that in mind
@Korina: If there are multiple variations of a role that are normal valid, would we be able to choose which variation to give as an invention? And if not, which variation of IC would be given to a player if it is picked as an invention?

Its hard to put it but it feels like a scum who saw a topic and decided to post something about it to be included in discussions/seem to have an idea about it more than someone who actually came to a conclusion on their own and then realized someone else came to same conclusion and decided to support them. scum meter 0.2

Rautherdir post invention talks feel so surface level why he acts like its deep thoughts. I just feel uneasy about them looking at these posts solo. I think I found first target of an iso dive later.

... So, I've admitted that it's currently the strongest pick I can think of, and also that I want to look and see if there are stronger alternatives. So yes, I will be looking at other options despite the option for ICs being on the table, because I am the sort to look at all the options.

As a player of last game I can say that my gut instinct likes the idea of giving the 5-7 towniest people a PT to plan things without scum's knowledge (I mean last time we got 6 town and 1 third party in it, and it had a very town-favorable outcome), BUT usesPython has found a way to break the invention thingy so that it acts as a a global pseudo-cop (by gifting IC), and I don't see any way scum can play around it by being in the PT (except if they kill the IC target but then hopefully it's the scummiest player anyway, and then the scum nightkill becomes a town-controlled vigshot which ia nice).

So overall I can support either having 7 towniest or everyone being in it.

This continues to make me uneasy. most of mech talks so far been natural or towny from all players but these one liners and the way rau engages with the topic feels so surface level and forgable. ofc confirming players gets us that much in a bastard game but still confirming players or killing scum is best result we can get from actions. so how else would you suggest to approach this instead of just saying whats obvious? what I mean is this is how expect most routine scum to engage with mech talks - without knowing rau much. scum meter 0.1

thing is it didn't feel like a joke. It was definitly signaling.

Now I'm reading more of game it seems your slot was involved in other ways with drew as well. so I don't get this interaction at all and I think the way you're hiding something is scummy in ways.

This doesn't feel like traitor actually. Its more like lawyer interaction (as you need drew to win to win kinda deal) and layers stick to their clients so hard so they recognize them and not kill em. But I'm also seeing it in various other ways that are quite unsettling.

I think this is a good slot to pressure for claim.
