karma with that kill in the night is now my no. 1 townread because i don't see a world where he axes the one person who's agreeing with him in the game, unless it's like a team decision thing. this makes it so that i think both the wagons were town yesterday and so i don't think scum had a bad place to be. bar maybe opposing both wagons in their entirety?

Looking back he did not. He made several posts proclaiming him as a locktown during Day 1 (506 778) but as the day went on he became more at peace with taking Greeting out (1252 1272). Funnily enough I remember 778 very vividly pinging me, to the point where I thought Takutai was somehow informed on Greeting's slot, but I must've missed his change of heart in the end of day fluster.

I thought this info would be important to bring up because Takutai has flipped town and I remembered him townreading Greeting and figured that would be useful in analysing whether a Greeting wagon is something we want or not.

Tho as detailed in my previous message, I incorrectly assumed that Takutai was still holding his strong townread on Greeting from earlier in the day when he died. In the world where he was (and the world I thought we were living in), I couldn't think of why Greeting would advocate for a Takutai kill bar the WIFOM reason of killing someone who townreads him to distance himself from the kill.

If I can do the turn towards the audience thing again, I will say I am missing a lot and I've been very stressed/intimidated by this game. Idk what it is, like I have these stress issues with forum games of mafia in general (including 2302) cause I find disengaging impossible and then I overthink things 20 times over. Don't read me on any of this, this is an issue I have regardless of alignment, but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips in terms of being able to manage stress/engagement levels in forum mafia games?

It could just be an ADHD issue where I just hyperfixate super hard and can't let the game ever leave my head, but at the same time all the thoughts manage to get scrambled up lol.

Or it's an inexperience thing. I don't play forum games very often (usually average like 2 a year) so when playing against players with a lot more experience that intimidation can make it difficult to form reads of my own, and often I do find myself getting lost in games trying to make sense of everything.

I am trying tho, and I think that's the main thing? As long as I am giving a shit and putting my all into the game then that's all I can do, and if that all isn't enough then it isn't enough.

As scum, I always (usually) kill looking for a PR...THEN, the biggest threat.

if someone has this same conversation the following day, I (or someone) will just say "its WIFOM". but it isnt every time.

sure could the kill be a frame job? yeah...but that is very doubtful. ALWAYS ELIMINATE THREATS.

Tak was a threat to someone. in a sea of random threats, someone CHOSE Tak. and I doubt it was a frame job.
