@mod what would happen hypothetically if a player was receiving a bp mason invention from night mare and get vanalized?

Is there a mechanical way to remove/disable inventions as they are handed out?

You should probably just straight up be fullclaiming here if you're town. Also it wouldn't matter since the invention got handed out at the start of the day and any vanillarizing action would happen during the night

I am a watcher variant. I can see what type of actions target me and to watch another slot normally. only on the first night I can do both.

I watched ranger cause I was thinking its a good target regardless of alignment and I saw Cat Scratch Fever visiting ranger. (and ofc ffs that slot is dead and cant confirm it right now) I also saw misc and protective actions visiting me.

Are you saying if you give someone a role through invention and they get vandalized they keep that role?

The mod confirmation says nothing can stop the invention from reaching that person, not that the role they get cant be blocked/will be immortal

Unless your argument is that someone has specifically a delayed vanillizer that takes place at day-start, there's nothing that could have possibly happened. Even if it's a normal day ability, you should have entered the masonry then been removed when it went off.

Since it's not an active ability, it's not one shot. She would have been added to the masonry permanently, which is one of the major advantages over IC.

Mason is Normal for town only so if town gets it they get added to an existing masonry and if scum gets it then nothing happens since it's not a normal invention

I just know what happened. and its quite frustrating when everyone is convinced they have a guilty and you're the only one who know they don't.

I think its most beneficial for town to just lim me and for me to not struggle much with finding how this happened before everyone else see my flip cause its just going to be pure chaos mech talks.
