he was also a late comer to the snivy wagon and there was no progression on his reads there.

klick, his predecessor, had an unexplained furtive townread towards day 1. it was instrumental in me townreading furtive because i was trusting klick's pov in day 1.

oh, uh, like maybe. idk if he is scum then i think he kinda needed ~something~ to get them past the immediate PoE and his claim does that only if he claims yesterday. the suggestion they'd draw a nightkill over the third mason they'd just outed was kind of absurd.

i get it, i'll go elsewhere first, but i really don't think that's a case for why bob is town in this game. it's closer to a case for why bob is null.

i also think that snivy's self-hammer was to deny towncred on hammer from {clidd, geraintm, humaneatingmonkey, Morning Tweet, Emperor flippyNips} because there was no partner outside of her wagon that could have hammered her and claim towncred.

it wasn't helplessness because all town was on her wagon. it was a tactical bus because all her partners were already there.

like maybe. my divine senses have no feeling on how many partners were on snivy's wagon just that there was 1+ partner there

With 11 alive, it takes 6 votes to drive someone out of town.

The sun will set in (expired on 2023-07-17 21:00:00).

Notes:
  • My attentiveness to this game has not been up to my usual standards as a mod and I apologize. I'll try and pull it together for the remainder.
just checking do we like both furtive + dragons as scum partners pushing clidd while an all-town wagon (assuming gerain) is going after furtive? this is pretty high risk of furtive goes down. then both following you onto snivy at the end of the phase?

it kind of feels like if dragons & furtive were partners they did as much as possible to seem associated lmao

i should probably do some deeper reading

i would like to know why people are so keen on HEM
My stance on HEM right now is that he's a talker. He's someone who was willing to lead town yesterday and the activity he gives to the game tells us a lot about him and those around him. Do I feel good about him dipping out a bit today? Not really. But it shows he'll engage if/when he needs to.

But I feel like if he's scum there's a strong chance he's paired with Furtive because of how I've observed them interacting and the way they've both tried to push other players' votes away from the other (HEM with the limpool of the gera pushers thing, Furtive guiding your vote away from HEM just this page). Because of this, and the fact I feel like he's a really strong asset to us *if* he's town, I want to flip Furtive first.

if daisy was shot for sharp reads (looking more likely) i think i like gerain more than i have and hem less than i have

if you're looking at my furtive associative, then i'd like to point you towards yesterday where i lead the furtive wagon end of day. if i was scum, and the remaining scum are bangle and me, that would have been suicide.

before that i have been calling furtive town and there was no compelling reason for me, progression-wise if I'm trying to build a town character, to suddenly 180 and bus the replacement before he has even made any impression on the thread.

the gamestate thereafter would have been 1 scum vs many many town and a mason team. and i would also be in the poe leading up to ELo. i also would have killed morning tweet, a hem townreader who i dearly miss.

these are bad scum decisions that i think I'm above.

i'm just not seeing dragons as partnered yet

not like, convinced he's town, i'm just not really picking it up and he seems lower probability than people are giving him credit for

yeah man, like how though. if you can articulate your thoughts i can engage with it.

it seems as if you don't think dragons is partnered with furtive because you think they're too partnered to be partnered?
and can you quantify how much lower the probability is? i won't be able to see the pov where i'm scum, but you can begin to tell me why it's less probable that std is scum than i am.

my belief that it is HEM is that they come in guns blazing on Roden but kind of ignores when Greeting does a similar thing. When the Roden wagon goes through, they lurk through d2 to avoid drawing suspicion and to try and keep out of the forefront of people's minds.

from today HEM was going on bob but switched to me when I went after them. as scum he had to because i'm threatening his wincon.

I think bob is possible too but i think the pattern of behavior is more likely to come from scum
