So what all did we do today?
- Watered crops; tended to animals.
- Mostly caught up Community Center donations.
- Tilapia went to Ocean Fish; Cockle went to Crab Pot; Woodskip went to Special Fish.
- Tomato and Pepper went to Summer Crops.
- Crystal Fruit went to Winter Foraging; Common Mushroom went to Fall Foraging.
- Frozen Geode went to the Field Researcher. Poppy went to the Chef.
- Blacksmith bundle is

done

completely. We got 5 Omni Geodes and one more Furnace.
- We smashed the rest of our geodes and cleared out museum donations. We got a Rarecrow (#8) from Gunther. This is part of a collectible set, and also functions as a regular scarecrow.
- We picked up a Help Wanted quest from the board - Leah wanted a Flounder - and we gave her the one we had lying around.
- We foraged by the beach a little; picked up some Coral. The Bus Stop was also full of forage.
- Finally, we chopped some trees down in Cindersap to spend our energy.

As a major reward for completing the first bundle of the Community Center, the Junimos have

Fun times on the beach

While heading to the beach, we noticed Alex and Haley both there. Haley was running around frantically; Alex was elsewhere, tossing a gridball around.

Upon seeing us, Haley explained that she'd lost a bracelet. She was positive she'd had it when she arrived on the beach.

We

offered her condolences

, rather than offer to buy her a new one - which was a good thing, as she later mentioned that it was a gift from her great grandmother. Upon hearing that, we volunteered to help her look for it - and found it next to Elliott's cabin. She was thrilled to have it back and gave us a big hug.

We then went over to say hello to Alex. He was practicing his gridball skills - he has plans to earn himself a spot on the roster of the Zuzu City Tunnellers. We weren't able to do much to help him practice; trying to catch a gridball failed miserably. Still, we

were happy for him

No, that's just grass. Loose lumber, bushes, and rocks can endanger crops; grass can't.

Oh good to know, I've always been cutting down grass to protect my farm.

Cutting it is an option, certainly - for aesthetics, if nothing else. I'd just need guidelines - we'd want to keep some of it around for animal feed.

If we don't plan on expanding our animals any time soon, we can get rid of quite a bit of it.

On today's agenda:
- Upgrade the farmhouse.
- Sell all silver+ melons, except for 5 gold melons (donate those to CC)
- Upgrade the pickaxe.
- Replace the melons with new melon seeds.
- Start turning large eggs into Mayo going forward.

I don't see anything to expend energy on (unless we need more wood for the farmhouse? not sure), so will fish with time/energy remaining.

- We've put in the order for the farmhouse. Robin says it will take

three days

to complete.
- We sold all silver+ melons, except for the five golds that went to the Community Center (Quality Crops). I also donated a regular melon (Summer Crops) and a jar of honey (Artisan Goods).
- Pickaxe has been turned in to Clint. He'll have that ready in

two days

.
- Eggs have been fed into the Mayo machine. We had a mix of small/large today.
- Fishing: I fished at the ocean. New fish: Red Snapper, which is the last Ocean fish on the list for the community center. They don't sell very well. We did catch a couple more super cucumbers; sold two, kept one. (They sell for a bunch, but they're also great emergency healing/energy restoratives.)

Red Snapper still needs to be donated; I stayed out pretty late. Was able to burn through the energy, albeit barely.

Science gone wrong

While we were at Robin's, we heard Maru calling for our help. She was with her father and needed us to keep an eye on something while she stepped away. We agreed.

While she was gone, Demetrius chatted with us - but the conversation took a turn when he mentioned that he didn't want to see anything get in Maru's way of a brighter future.

Then, when Maru returned, he told her that he was just talking to us about the experiments.

We called him on it.

He apologized for lying; Maru forgave him.
