The exile thing was funny but I'm not sure it rises to the level of title-worthy.

"Silver Medalist" has potential, although I think we'd want to make absolutely sure that it reads as the compliment it's intended to be.

"Still Smiling" might start to capture spirit of both noms, but maybe discards some flavor/specificity

I love both of the original noms, I feel like Silver Lining has been slept on as a kind of semi-abstract painting of both noms. All That Glitters is really good too.

Finally...things are going back to normal again...?

It took awhile, but after we left our baby nominations underneath our online pillows for so long, the Title Fairy delivered the gifts in the end!

Hahahahah!!

there were so many people laughing at and doubting me!
But
I
knew
my parents would never lie to me. The
Title Fairy
*is* real,
doubters
.

Now hm...since
that
is solved, I suppose next in the list should be
Santa Claus
right...?

It's been almost one year since I moved out of my parents' house and no sign of the old man...

Hah
. I bet he's not a techie so since I moved out pretty close to Christmas, he couldn't google maps my new address or something?

Well, everything is going to be fine as long as he gets me something twice as expensive this year I guess...

Thanks for everything Miss Title Fairy! and I hope Santa Claus doesn't forget anyone again this upcoming Christmas!

(I'm so
excited
! I can barely
wait
!!!)

Does Santa even come to Brazil? There's not even snow there... And winter's in July...
Norwe is spontaneous, has a stream-of-consciouness posting style, usually posts on catch-ups by commenting on past pages posts, gets rather fired up in certain moments in games, is relatively as playful as me in games and likes casual shitposting

I'm a little saddened that everyone is more concerned with getting presents than with Shirou leaving babies beneath his pillow. Not surprised; just disappointed.

Oh sorry, I wasn’t paying enough attention to the site to notice this, but I love the noms. I really like the idea of working my uhh.. unfortunate survivor record into it and “silver lining” and “all that glitters” are probably my favourites.

If I had my pick, I would go with “all that glitters”. Super clever nom from hellbooks!

Nominate ambic for Maniac Mastermind
Nominate ambic for Crime of Passion

As both a player and a mod, ambic puts his whole self into it and generates ideas with the fervor of a mad scientist. He ran two complex roleplaying style games to completion (Curse of Kowhai Mall & Curse of Rata Mall), which is historically the type of on-site project that tends to get mod abandoned. He has the willpower and commitment to see stuff through. All kinds of craziness went down in these, like in Rata Mall two players instantly died because they ignored an omen of red skulls and kept trying to brute force a password.

As far as what I'm trying to convey about his Survivor style as well, these folks said it better-
Cephrir's character in Adorable Critter Survivor wrote:Wow, what a whirlwind. No, not the game, just this guy. It takes some courage to just bold faced lie to absolutely everyone all the time and expect to get away with it, but Jerboa got away with it again and again. Even when no one trusted him anymore, he was able to make himself needed to make plays, and so just kept surviving and being included on important votes. I don't know whether he chose this character because he's so jumpy, but that should be the reason. An absolute mess of frantic paranoia, unnecessary moves and takes on the game from the moon were the gifts that kept on giving, and this game was way more exciting for having him.1
Nicholas 1024's character in Survivor: Three Houses wrote:
ambic's character in Survivor: Three Houses wrote:Theres a whole heap of shit being spread right now that Ive flipped, that ive leaked plans i know nothing about, including a plan to vote Raph. Its all lies. Im voting Shamir tonight, and godwilling im voting the mastermind of the chaos: Edelgard tomorrow
If you aren't the main character of this game then I'm not sure who is. I'm still wrapping my head around how two different people gave you idols. And whether or not you would admit it, you were responsible for a lot of the chaoticness and dynamicness of this game. It's also interesting that all three times you were voted followed your 'biggest' stunts (claiming to make Leicester to target a specific tribe to both tribes, Thanksgiving Rumours, and Saying you'll turn on Raphael then backing out)2
Thestatusquo, moderator of Survivor: Risk v. Reward wrote:Michel, you bring a frenetic energy and a passion to any game you play. I loved having you in this game even though you gave me a heart attack once when I thought you had somehow broken the game. You throw yourself fully into a game and you try your hardest at every possible task.3

The weird thing is Rata mall heavily borrowed concepts from Maniac Mansion, an old style point and click game from like the 80s.

I'd be kind of disappointed if Ambic's title didn't involve his penchant for drawing pictures during the survivor games he plays. Imo that's one of the most defining and endearing parts of ambic. IDK if there's some way to include it.
