Are you even allowed to propose a mission that doesn’t include yourself? I can’t imagine ever doing so but when I’ve played Avalon I think we strictly didn’t allow it. (Though we played with different rules where most of the time doing so would explicitly be a gamethrow.)

You don't technically need to include yourself but that means you have to get all four other Operatives in order for it to succeed which is a low chance. I meant moreso suspicious because I liked the suggestion of having 2 players from the first group and 2 new players.

I don't think there is a rule FORBIDDING it, but it is such an anti-wincon move I couldn't imagine it outside like edge cases.

Yeah I think it's generally good to always include yourself in a vote. If a vote fails and you're not in there you have no idea which of the 4 failed it, vs only 3 if you're on the vote
