You don't technically need to include yourself but that means you have to get all four other Operatives in order for it to succeed which is a low chance. I meant moreso suspicious because I liked the suggestion of having 2 players from the first group and 2 new players.

Thanks for your confession, Mist. Let's actually NOT do that because reroll of 3 gets spies a GUARANTEED failure (assuming 1 of the past 3 are spies):

3/7 spies. Eliminating T-Bone, STD, and Mist removes 1 spy (2/6) and 2 good players (2/4). If we were picking another 3 from that pool, it will NEED to include at least 1 spy, possibly 2.

I'll do me + d3f/mallow + STD/T-Bone if my hand is forced, but I am so overwhelmingly convinced Mist is one of the scum thanks to multiple attempts at wacky math I'd really just refer to stick with the only team we've had that has actually won, plus one of me/d3f/mallow

That isn't QUITE what I'm asking. I want us to avoid another fail, but that is where I am leaning. If I proposed it, would you grumble and go "I don't like it but I don't hate it enough to give us another vote fail" or would you actually dislike it enough to vote fail it?

We ought to solve this now because if we vote it down today, we'll be stuck with whatever monstrosity the next person proposals. nothing has changed in my statements. stop trying to put words in my mouth. you just keep trying to pick apart my statements to make them sound worse to paint me in a bad light.

and we've had a lot of time to discuss a different team and multiple people have said this team is not their favorite and you've strongarmed us into this with the mentality of "we NEED to get a team through" when we still have 2 other opportunities to get on board with a team where more people are comfortable. people are voting yes because "we don't want to hit the fail counter" and you've proposed a subpar team that doesn't provide us any new information.

Everyone has said this team is not their favorite but no two people have listed the same alternate team. I am not looking for everyone to say "Yes, this is the best team", I am only looking for "This is a team I don't have enough objection to to send us into the danger zone".

I don't quite follow and I think you might be forgetting that this round, we would need TWO votes to fail in order to fail. So if you are correct and the team is confirmed "mist/mallo/defender", that means there is 1 scum and 3 town on this mission. And raises a lot of questions why mallo would nom a team that would fail for his side. Which makes me think it isn't mallo and is, I guess, you/mist/d3f?

Yeah, definitely went too hard on Merlining but I felt it was better to win the missions and possibly lose on being copped as Admin than just lose outright on mission fails.

That's the opposite of my rule. In games like this, when scum is open and making a decision, anything that can distract them or throw them off their initial reads should and must be utilized, especially if the read was as strong as Mist's was on me.
