Atp we should focus on cash and donate everything we can to the vault room.

Harvest everything and sell surplus stuff for cash. Donate everything possible, break open all geodes. Water everything. Give gifts to favorite people. Plant and water plantables. Fish a lot, sell all crap. Craft some stuff, smelt ores into bars.

All right, I think we have some competing ideas here.

I see a strong desire to earn money and work on donations. So I'm going to distill this down into a couple of basic ideas and see which sounds better.

Things that will happen no matter what:
1) Watering crops
2) Tending to animals
3) Smelting (at least a little - tossing some ore in the furnaces before we leave is super-easy).
4) Some form of fishing, and selling our catch (other than things that can't be donated).

Plan A:
- Mountain Lake. With this plan, we fish at the mountain lake. This pairs nicely with

selling excess weapons and armor

at the Guild. The community center is reasonably close, so it won't take too long for the detour here.

Plan B:
- Ocean. With this plan, we fish at the ocean. We can harvest the crab pot with this plan, which isn't very exciting - but the ocean tends to pay out the best. (Pufferfish from 12-4 and Super Cucumbers from about 6:30pm onwards both sell for a bundle.) This is also the farthest spot from the community center. Normally this option would let us sell our catch to Willy and get money *today*, but it's Saturday; Willy will probably be closed.

Plan C:
- River. With this plan, we fish at the river that runs through Pelican Town. This pairs the best with

socialization and gifting

, but probably offers the weakest cash flow. This works decently with the community center. (Note: a lot of villagers have hit the gift cap for the week, so gifting will be less effective today.)

Also: should we save any money? Summer is coming to an end, and Fall is a lucrative season for planting.

The crossover crops (corn, any remaining sunflowers, ancient fruit?) should definitely be watered. Hops definitely should, as they'll produce again tomorrow. Everything else, depends on if watering them today will get them produce tomorrow.

We will make that run to the CC, though - donating what we can, as we still get rewards for completing bundles, even if we don't get the whole thing done. Plus that way we'll know how much we're short.

We officially have a problem.

During one of the "sell things!" actions, we sold our blueberries.

We never donated blueberries to Summer Crops.

Which means we cannot complete the Summer Crop bundle.

Blueberries did not mature today (Summer 28), and they are not a crossover crop; they will die tomorrow (Fall 1).

There is one possible chance at redemption.

On Fridays and Sundays, the traveling cart comes to visit Cindersap Forest. It sells a random variety of this and that - including, from time to time, crops. The prices are usually extortionate, but it's one way of getting things that might otherwise be difficult (or impossible) to get.

If we want to try to fix this, we should start making a point of visiting the cart every chance we get.

We did manage to turn in a few things. We completed the three cheapest Vault bundles, picking up some Quality Fertilizer, a few Chocolate Cakes (pretty good healing items), and another lightning rod.

The remaining vault bundle will cost

We also turned in the Exotic Foraging bundle, grabbing a few Autumn's Bounties (more healing, with temporary bonuses to both Foraging and Defense.)

Fishing ... did not go so well. We were catching a lot more trash than usual, and missed two fish on top of it. (One was probably an octopus, which is understandable. The other was probably a pufferfish, which I should not be missing.)

I think the crab inadvertently got sold too. Another mistake, albeit a less costly one - we can get another from the crab pot, hopefully - or from the mines.
