Andante being weird and erratic is just how they are imo. As both alignments too.

Was there anything town indicative to you?
Andante's nuke and abort of Gamma almost felt too wild and erratic, even for Andante. Also, Andante nuked Gob as a reaction test but she wasn't trying to show off and say "oh, I'm so town, I'm nuking Gob as a reaction test." She fake nuked Gob to gauge his alignment. Plus I liked her response to Chell's scumread of her but that might just be me confbiasing.

In post 640, Roden wrote: I feel like Sky is town with buyer's remorse and is trying to justify their nuke. I guess they expected me to engage with them first, but that typically gets me scum read in most games (reacting to getting voted would be the equivalent) for being too defensive and self-focused and I've been trying to avoid that.

PE: Oh, I'm alive. Less Baldur's Gate time then I guess.
Ehhhhh. I think this is a lot closer to a vig equivalent than a vote equivalent.

While I agree that you’ve probably been trying to avoid coming off as over defensive, I don’t really think that really happened here or I don’t feel that effort toward not defending yourself here, given the total absence of acknowledging it even happened.

Unless I missed a post.
I might’ve missed a post.

But I don’t care from an unemotional standpoint.
It’s just awkward grandstanding.
I don't hate Chell's response to my 'case,' I think it's a little scum indicative but not very much. On one hand, Chell is not a widely scumread player and can get away with just brushing the case off if she's scum. On the other hand, I don't think it's unreasonable to say that town!Chell could think my case is bad and just think that it's not worth engaging with me.
I find it more likely to be a kind of power move of theirs intentionally rather than them seriously considering what you said and then, after careful deliberation, deciding it lacked merit.

It’s more rhetoric style than AI, or at least as town I’ve done what they’ve done.

But I’ve also done it as scum so eh.

Do you guys want me to write up a nuclear arms agreement where both sides agree not to nuke the other except in defense of a nuclear attack and score a diplomatic victory (Tie?)

The third party is a terrorist. But they can join too.

That is an accurate summation of how other players think about it, yes.

I’m more ambivalent. The only thing that particularly bothers me is their picks of upgrade.
The wanting to hop off of responsibility thing was interesting but in a stargazer study group kind of way than an AI way.

The vibe I get is that she’s just trying to make as little noise as possible and survive while appearing to contribute. I can’t quite put my finger on why it’s different from scum vibes though.

How do they do that by picking the scummiest picks possible which have been discussed by multiple players in thread and being the first to nuke someone with an attempt to kill them?

anyways i fail to see how mirv is a scummy pick when nuking is public and people can hold each other accountable for shots

i would actually encourage everyone to invest in mirv because it seems like it'd be... a blast...

MIRV CEO right here, don’t trust them!

Although I agree that there’s nothing scummy about developing that particular bit of tech.
