Leaf is more comfortably town now. I had bad vibes around Leaf and Hu Tao and thought he was defending her too hard for this early in the game, but that feels less likely without day talk to collaborate on it.

I said this in a previous game but reading Geraintm is like trying to play the slots and the house always wins. Idk how to read them and tend to ignore them Day 1.

Bulge is still meh to me. All of his votes have been non-controversial and I don't see any effort to dig into the game. I don't really see why he town reads me either.

Dann's posts have been good and lifted the slot into a town lean for me. I had pretty much no opinion on Xegarus prior.

I'm exploring a theory that geraintm as town is more "I can't properly place anyone because it's day 1 but I will join all the big wagons" and geraintm as scum is more "You can't place me on day 1 because it is impossible"

I've played multiple day 1s when I all did was vote thr longest wagon, just to get to day 2 quicker

Not saying you are absolutely wrong, OR that FL is certainly scum, but I actually disagree with this reasoning.
To me, if anything, the lack of daytalk would explain so many things with scum!FL paired with either of scum!jjh or scum!HuTao.
If I wanted to see this scenario, I could easily see the frustration of wanting to "coach" them around claims/pushes etc.

I was in a game with a 3-player hood that had 2 scum and 1 town in it.
I always thought it was very unfair towards town to even think such a thing could exist, but it did and lost us the game in the end.
We townbinned the remaining scum that was still in the hood alive or something.

I guess one issue is that claiming a hood this early is in many ways similar from the scumsters POV, as getting confirmed VT-slots out of us.
Unless people in the hood can have multiple roles

Do you want to bounce some ideas then? I think Nono is 100% town here on the grounds that they have taken a very unique stance within the gamestate, despite ultimately being wrong. This was my canned answer to the question I asked geraintm

i agree with this like as a generally town indicative tell but it's definitely not a complex enough tell to 100% town someone off of it?

generally when town has an against the grain read on a game they either care about it pretty intensely or end up peer pressured out of it because no one agrees with them

the scum read on you from nono feels like nono is holding the read for the sake of having it

like the whole "doubt ill get jjh eliminated but they so super scum xD" tone feels inconsistent with the actual view on the gamestate. like if town, I'd expect the natural inclination to be more engaging with other people's stated town reads on jjh's slot, or to treat the scum read with more seriousness than "oh well i probably can't get this"

Ame town is my strongest read. I would say FL being town is my 2nd. He seems to be similar to what I'm used to.

I think I explained already but there is a scum strategy where you scumread tunnel the towniest person, and the rest of the town just sees you as misguided town. Looks like that, since your reasons for scumreading me I don't think make any sense.

We are both in the same hood. He outed us when I had no desire to do so. I can't work out why you are so fixated on me.
