It kinda came from the exchange between Comet and Afrayed the other day on pages 50-52(ish) around the Merlyn elim.

There was a fair amount of speculation that Merlyn and Comet were partners.

Under new speculation though it is casting a bigger shadow on the Afrayed/star slot. as he was the aggressor in that exchange. and im just not getting good vibes from Wheme in this role.

but there isn't really anything specific to point to just a tickle.

Comet has been there but not there, a presence but never pushing the game forward.

To that I have to say, pot meet kettle. You think that I haven't been pushing the game forward despite me pretty much pointing out "Knott scum" for the last 4 days who you now currently view as potential scum? I feel like if I was scum the win condition would be pretty easy here - kill Timmer in the night and pursue a wagon on either Knott or Kittie slot - I feel like honestly I'd get away with that pretty easily. This whole no-kill thing definitely wouldn't have been my play, and Timmer has been very upfront that he townreads me so I wouldn't have had to worry about being jailkept myself either.

Where are you guys leaning on things?

I feel like it's probably a Dann lim today because I just can't see it being a good idea to ignore the no-kill when he was nightkilled. Is there a chance it's a frame? Definitely - but there's no reason frankly not to take it because we're entering tomorrow with the exact same circumstance we would have been in if scum hadn't no-killed anyway - having to decide between Knott/Wheme and Kittie.

Now that choice is more difficult, I think gun-to-head I would vote for Wheme tomorrow and I would advise you to jail them. There's literally 0 chance scum will kill so we'll all be around to discuss it (aside from whoever today's lim is) anyhow.

I mean touch-wood Dann flips scum - I'd frankly give it a 50/50 - he was (and still frankly might be) my top town read aside from the jailkeeper but if we don't elim him today it's going to be a mess tomorrow.

Yeah, at this point I believe that a dann lim is unavoidable and as you say Comet, it's a decent 50/50 chance to succeed.

This is notice that I will hammer within 4 hours if no one else gets there first.

I'd actually like you all to take a good long look at Kittie

I think if I look at everyone here she is simply the slot that is most trying to maneuver herself into a winning endgame and 9/10 in my experience that kind of slot is just scum

Afrayed Knott and even Whemestar here feels more like an outrageous townie than anything else

and I think Kittie would have some reason to no kill if she suspected Afrayed Knott was going to get targeted by Timmer

If Comet and I assumed that then Afrayed Knott would have been basically cleared going into an F4. and both of us were hard town reading each other. I think Kittie might assume that scenario and realizes that she's at the bottom of the totem pole in an f4

and as such she's both the most likely person to no kill and basically the only person playing to end game. I don't really see wheme playing to end game here. Comet maybe but Comet has no real reason to end game when she could just breeze her way to a win

because I know afrayed knott did a lot of outrageous stuff that makes it easy to scum read him

but I think he's being brought to end game for a reason

we could have Timmer announce exactly who he is going to jail between me and Afrayed

that forces scum to either clear a slot for F3 or no kill again

I'm not necessarily against it, it just changes tomorrow from Kittie/Wheme to Dann/Wheme.

Might even be a little cleaner given I think Kittie is scumreading me? Changes tomorrow from Kittie vs Comet vs Wheme to Wheme vs Dann.

I do think you should definitely confirm who you're targeting here before the day ends Timmer as it forces mafia to no-kill or automatically lose.

Not necessarily scum reading you, more like I have a tickle in my brain that is like "I think Comet is a really good player, and has done a really good job at staying off the radar, what if they are a wolf"

now were at a point where were all pointing fingers at everyone. and I am evaluating (or over evaluating) each slot that is left. and probably overthinking them too.

I can find a case on just about everyone left in the game at this point.

the problem is scum in afrayed or kittie's position do benefit quite a lot from no killing especially given looking back i think it's pretty obvious who timmer was going to target?

I do and kind of don't see your logic, on the no kill.

Lets work through your statement as a thought exercise, if everyone thought Timmer was going to Jail-keep you.

I think it would still be beneficial for scum to use their kill to get rid of Timmer being he is the only confirmed power roll.

In this thought exercise that everyone is believing you are the one to be Jail-kept. and expectantly awaiting that outcome to influence our votes today.

I feel that it would have been a better play for the scum to kill Timmer, as it would turn the remaining town on each other, and in a weaker position with out the power role.

Here we all are waiting for the out come of the jail keep to confirm your role. A kill would have turned us all on each other and make us all revaluate our game play.

With everyone believing your scum no matter what were going into another night and day. A no kill leaves the scum in a weaker position.

that being said, I honestly thought Timmer was going to Jailkeep Comet, thats where my thought was going.

I'm still not 100% convinced on where my vote should go.
