No idea, it feels like an accident so I am not calling it misrepresentation on purpose. Twisting my words is also probably not accurate either, I am just not sure what to call it.
Me and Dunn had a really long conversation about it, this is likely where you got that idea, but I don't think it was a malicious one on his part. Or at least I don't think the malicious part was us reaching the point where people thought I was scum reading my wagon for the reason , since Dunn has stated he wondered why I wouldn't re-eval not like the narrative you said.
I've thought about it already in all honesty. And there isn't a point in crying about since Dunn said my stance was reasonable with my perspective and the general act of not re-evaluating was still scummy for people.

i do not think that is correct but that is a towny thought
what is towny about that thought
idk it feels kind of unrealistic in a way that tends to come from town
like it's kind of a conspiracy theory that i don't really think holds any water but the fact that that was sakura's first reaction to apparently learning that information for the first time feels... just unlikely to come from scum
i don't know how else to explain it other than like i don't think scum ever thinks they can or should intentionally angle to end the day in a non-majority and as a by product i think it would be unlikely for scum!Sakura to think of that here
oh I was confused I thought you were talking to mandate :X

I kinda disagree, why would I not clarify my post as scum in regards to what you said.
Especially given arguing against half the point would probably look bad for me from a reads standpoint.

The way you did it. You had the full reign to assert a misrep and gave it up. You seem nonchalant to how the thread conceptualized your stance. Questioning how to characterize the idea on your stance is another thing I don't really think scum would do intentionally. And you contesting this makes me wonder of you're trying to sort me or someone else. It doesn't give me the impression thay you're trying to please or even pacify, almost the opposite.

i was just curious because the last couple times i've seen you as town you've been pretty committed to at least one pocket scum read
is the reason you're trying to be more restrained just lack of confidence from being wrong?
I think if you read my posting this game you would realize I am kind of tunneled on implosion but I am trying to give him a chance to convince me otherwise.
Well I'm a step closer. I feel good about townbinning you

if you want pocket scumreads I kind of think the scum team is
dannflor - implosion - mandate
I'm not pushing it because I have a lot of people at null[alisae, brown eyes, keyleth] and I don't really want to get into a slapfight with anyone this game. plus I could always just be wrong.
my reasoning:
implosion - has never really felt like he's wanted to be here, he's felt apprehensive around me when I talk to him and his explanation to meuh doesnt make sense because if he thinks town!me is going to tunnel the shit out of town!him wouldnt it be good for him to have that happen if his goal is to sort me? his response to his push feels too logical and restrained.
dannflor - you kind of feel burnt out and exhausted and I think you'd feel that pressure more as scum than town esp in this kind of setup, when you enter the thread I'm not sure the things you're interested in are really productive or town you trying to go forward in the motion. You're probably the closest to true null in this group of three as you've done the least and I guess you would be null if I didn't have such high expectations for your town game which is somewhat unfair sorry I hope you don't find me insufferable <3
mandate - I really dislike the way he tries to practice thread control, a few of his reads felt made up in order to achieve a goal rather than find scum. The thing that made me think he's mafia is when he was venting at Merlyn last night for being toxic when she expressed a view of implosion that she couldn't trust him because he's fooled her recently. He extrapolated it to that she was basically policying implosion for being good at mafia which is not the sentiment she really expressed. I thought about it some more and I think maybe the reason he thinks this is because he is tilted that town players like sakura/beeboy are being hard townbinned off a few posts because meta reasons while players like implosion can't buy a townread to save his life. this tilt really only makes sense if he's teamed with implosion and he thinks this game is unfair - conveniently this kind of fits with the way he defended you and implosion as his reasons for townreading the two of you make no sense to me.
I don't feel amazing about any of these and I understand I can be biased especially early in the game so I am kind of being handsoffy and letting it play out
i think it's possible for mandate to be scum but i haven't really felt it so far and i don't think your reasons for scum reading him are really alignment indicative
maybe the made up reads part but i see the thread at least with regards to the read on me
but overall the whole reaction to players not town reading ppl because they are good at mafia is just something that really rubs certain players the wrong way
i mean if mandate really was shiny brass object i would probably town read them for exactly that
i can't actually argue a meta case but i just flatly disagree with the idea that the only reason it makes sense to be annoyed by that sort of read is because he's teamed with players that have good ranges
also sorry you did not invite me to argue with you so feel free not to respond but while it's true I have in general life been feeling quite exhausted lately
im not feeling super pressured in this game? i feel pretty relaxed actually and like i can catch up at my own pace
I think that frequently I see players complain that people don't want to play scum anymore and that scum are disproportionately likely to sub out and what happened to there being more players who were considered scum superstars. I see that the mod in this game felt the need to warn players that playing against your wincondition in this game for future game wincondition is heavily frowned upon.
Then I turn around and see that the players who alt guessed me are by and large unwilling to commit townreads on me even though by any ordinary standard I've obvtowned like crazy and done tons of stuff that I have no reason to do as scum and have played in ways that are demonstrably bad for my wr as scum
I think that is insidiously toxic and terrible and I am never surprised when I hear people who are whining about the state of scum play on MS when I think back to my own experiences but I appreciate that this game at least lets me say for sure why no one wants to try as scum. Of course no one wants to use introspection and think about how their own collective actions create this situation. Player was good at scum but comes back after over four years of absence? Have 100% correct reads or be burden of proficiencies.
For what it's worth I don't think you're town anymore Aristeia, I do not think you can be this incapable of understanding me but I think you can be scum who doesn't want to because it's against your win condition
I mean it's funny because BE assigned you none of that leverage to be human making a human error and ofc she ends up with better reads because I like to assume that you don't play like this as scum and it's just like, why should I even bother
