"Maybe I can find out how much he already knows" the teacher suggested.

She put a piece of paper on her desk and set down a pen.

"Can you make an S?" She handed a pen to Dunnstral.

Dunnstral looked very nervous, and the teacher felt worried she was putting him on the spot too much. Yet she didn't want to retract the assignment altogether.

"Or an R" That one was on the board, in several sizes.

Dunnstral looked up at the teacher quietly and took the pen. "Ok, but let me take my time. I'd like to get it to look how I want." It was a little surprising, as it was the most he'd spoken so far.

He drew a surprisingly accurate sketch of a Caraket, and complete with some water around it so it could swim. Then he drew the sketch again but removed everything but the lines that make the letter. It took quite a while.

The sketch was so good that the teacher slowly took it, to put in a drawer.

"Thank you, that can help us match him with a class if we're able to enroll him." Toriel gave Dunnstral a pat, relieved he hadn't been too shy.

I'm caught up but, I don't really know what to say because everything in my mind is sort of a jumbled mess trying to sort the game. It's a pretty unique set where I haven't seen a thread quite divided in a long time. I can say with confidence I would happily spare the Mandate slot, Dann, Implo,Taly aren't that far behind. I think this odd sense of comfortability I feel with those townreads is making me want to question everything ten times over because I think a level of uncertainty is good for the game, ya know? I also don't want to be super incorrect if half the thread is saying one thing and it should be obvious to me.

How far along in the Iso did you get if you don't mind me asking? A fresh pair of eyes on this game coming from the replacements might be what we need.

For Mandate, not so far before I realised that it was 300 and something posts long.
I might relook at it, when I get the time.

Going on a spiel, I think that the only scum!implo world is where Meuh is also scum.
At least, based off my knowledge of scum!implo, he is more than likely to bus D1.
That being said, I think town!implo is much more likely.

I'm more curious about why you think Keyleth is likely scum here, and I find that you're making scumreads quite quickly which is of note.

her tone feels a little performative in terms of expressing excitement but nervousness over and over again but i just realized while writing this that that might be an attempt to roleplay as the character keyleth

the main thing is the focus on posting and asking questions about things related to the setup or things that aren't related to anyone's alignment at all

clarifying a joke in 39

asking why you bold usernames in 47

setup talk in 52 and 63

71 feels like a question for a sake of question and not an attempt to sort me especially given there was no follow up thoughts about my alignment after i answered

i would just expect a town entrance to include something about someone's alignment before 89

keyleth is posting a lot but that hasn't really translated into approaching the game in a towny way
