When i open this game, and starting read, i immediatly close it because i starting strongly consider self last townie alive and others are just jesters.
Acting concerned over sky's 2nd vote on the Khaos wagon is the only thing that has stood out to me so far. I feel like if he actually thought sky might be scum jumping on an easy wagon then he would have taken away his RVS vote in 39, especially considering Roulette also jumped on the wagon to put it at e-2. It feels like Kitty is perfectly fine with this fade going through but is putting on a facade to lessen his impact on the whole thing
No, I just don't pay much attention to my own RVS votes really. Especially since I always remove them early in d1. UNVOTE:
I'm not really understanding this defense. You
were
paying attention to your RVS vote here because your whole reason for posting about sky's vote was due to her adding on to it
Then you even corrected the mod when he posted that Khaos only had 2 votes instead of 3. You couldn't have thought you had removed your vote already, and if you always remove your RVS vote early on then it seems even weirder that you didn't remove it after e-2. I could understand if maybe you wanted to keep the wagon up to gauge a Khaos reaction but that doesn't seem to be the case here

For this to be the truth then Khaos must have been in real danger of getting hung, which he wasn't.

this is actually why i had kitty so low but i always have kitty kinda low so
I am also in the tried to lim Kitty for being scummy and they turned out to be town club so I approach him with more caution now, but I'm interested to what Kitty says in response to this
If he is always scummy then how must you find the difference between him when he is scum and him when he is town?

This is a good question. I may not have a good answer bc I haven't played with Kitty when he's scum. I do know there's some things, like having 'hot takes', that I won't consider scummy from Kitty
What specifically do you find scummy about Kitty when he's town? Bad logic? No decisions?
I can see the newbtown arguments but these posts kinda make me feel like Roulette could be a kitty partner
The vote and declaration of "you are Mafia" followed directly by a defense of kitty after I voted there seems a little jarring. And then Roulette asks a bunch of questions about kitty... 94 in particular feels like a way to help kitty by determining what he should and shouldn't do to get townread. Roulette then unvotes him for having a good thought process, but I'm not really seeing the good thought process here. The whole thing reads like something I did as scum in my last game, a pseudo-bus for distancing and then backing off for weak reasons
If kitty is town then this all means nothing but it's something I noticed and wanted to document
I'm not sure I'm following this, but im also thinking that this might not be your first language and I want to factor that in. Can you explain a little more about what you thought was a good thought process here?
Yeah, we have relatively short deadlines in this game and while I can see merit in what you're saying about Kitty I could also see him becoming the default lim bc no else is really talking. I asked Khaos specifically bc the lol indicates to be they are following doing but not really sharing enough so I can sort them
To be clear I don't think this line of questioning is scummy, I just want to hear Merlyn's thought process. I sort people best by engaging with them so let me cook

This makes sense. I'm still curious what you think about my partner theory but if you want to let Khaos respond first I get that

I don't think she's pointing this at him, I think she's trying to engage. Chill, miss scum hunter
This made me think about something Shea said about me recently:
I think tonally she asks all these extremely pointed questions. The questions themselves aren't always pointed but they have a tonal resonance to me of 'I think you're a baddy' which is in and of itself kind of pointed and so when she's interacting with people (including me) it frequently feels like she's scum reading them and then those interactions go nowhere because she likes to jump around and poke her nose into everything so that tone and lack of followup always kind of feels opportunistic to me.
I guess I just don't want people to assume I'm attacking someone just by asking them questions. It's hard for me to sort people without getting into their brain and the best way for me to do that is have them elaborate on a thought process or a stance

Do not be foolish. I can defend Kitty from bad arguments and attack him with good arguments. The thoughts I saw in Kitty that gave me reason to unvote was him trying to start discussions in a complex way. He did not want to split the discussions between two players and that is a good thought which is likely to come from town.

Kitty does not want to split the discussion between two players, so he only mentioned Sky's vote on Khaos but not mine.
