i actually have no idea where it's from, i'm guessing it's from reading some random game that you were in where someone called you good as scum or something along those lines. Or maybe it's just a wholesale fabrication of my mind!

I have a reputation of being a strong scum player, honestly. Not sure where that originated, but I've had Perfect Scum Wins before, even back when I barely had experience as scum.

I've definitely had sleeper scum games, though.

I think what happens is people more often see my town-game and feel paranoid about how "strong it appears" and think that's the scum-game.

I can grok a Meuh scum argument, and don’t disagree with implo/Meuh not being paired, but I don’t think that translates to me for “Trust implo implicitly”.

Honestly it kind of feels like Taly might be setting up to pivot onto implo if Meuh flips town.

Meuh herself seems hyper defensive whenever her pushes get criticized which is nagl. I need to think about this a bit more.

I think your saying my posting looked MD-esque is fair for everything but my post with the Meuh vote, which is partly why i started writing that post because I realized I hadn't said anything actually pertinent to reads in those posts or maybe in a while. I think they're also important things to say because I have a sense that town morale is imperiled by a combination of the day dragging on, the repeated actually-no-lets-do-someone-else in response to every wagon, the slew of replacements, etc. And I think it's quite important that we talk about that at least a bit so that it doesn't fester.

I think this is sort of foreign to how scum would be viewing this game. I feel like if Taly is scum then he doesn't need to worry about setting up a pivot because lord knows the gamestate is going to give twelve more opportunities to pivot before the lim is locked in. I think Taly's very reluctant insistence that I'm town is a good look, because it's exactly the kind of trajectory that I think scum would be afraid to make for fear of seeming noncommittal and like they're looking to pivot.

This is where I'm having some grievances with your posting as this dayphase has rppgressed. It's D1 and you're surmising a chain of mislims. It doesn't give me the vibe that it's uninformed. If you feel town is misguided on someone, can you share more on the what and why of your reads/push?

I’m not a huge fan of the last couple of implo posts. They’re all “right” in the sense that if I was reading them in MD I feel like I’d be nodding along but like, in the context of the game they just feel like he’s doing something to be doing something. Taly, can you point to where you slotted implo as town?

@Taly, this is my thoughts wrt implo, I haven't looked hard into you yet to see if the townbinning is town motivated or not but I definitely don't see anything he's done as super towny myself. Your response that his last few posts gave townvibes did not instill supreme faith in implo, though, if that's what you're after.

Sure but I guess we sort "not SvS" differently. If I wanted to set myself up it would be more blatant, but in a vacuum, my reads on them both are not dependent on the other. I just don't think they are partnered.

Is this the gamestate? It kind of feels like everyone is just waiting on a Ali/Meuh flip to happen right now to me, not like there's this massive fluid shift in votes around the corner. Admittedly, I've been limited to ISOs and real time engagement since my rep in, but has this game really been that much of a wagons appearing and disappearing jumble as you make it sound?
