I feel like gob is probably just town here that thinks he caught scum!me based on a meta read. My only concern is that if he's this convinced then he should have some idea about how my play is different without having to go look at other games. Instead of just saying how my play is different he's trying to justify the meta read by pointing out stuff that isn't even really scummy. Seems like an odd choice but I don't really think it's a scum-driven one. I guess it could be scum trying to look busy but idk about that. My gut says probably town

FB didn't town read me and his point was valid. Difference in playstyle doesn't equal scummy. There are many factors that go into how people play

Ari said she doesn't know if I'm town, she just wants to be carried (Ari I gotchu boo)

RC speculated that I could be town but I wouldn't really call it a townread

I don't really follow the logic that I'm scum because people disagreed with you

Nothing really. To me it just seems like you think I'm scummier than I am because I pushed people that you were feeling good about at the time. And you were feeling good about them because they were defending you, not necessarily because they were shining beacons of towniness

I have a feeling that engaging with you won't really change your opinion of me, so go ahead and keep building your case and let the other players decide if they agree with you or not

Part of me still thinks gob is scum. I don't think i can just write him off as town gob makes bad arguments is townie. We were teammates recently I know he can hide behind that.

Her posting tries to give off a chill and relaxed vibe but at the same time she emulating some town productivity with reads but they just come off as scum awkwardness to be completely tbh with you

i was honestly going to put gob in the same tier as firebringer after reading gobs posting but then i see a bunch of people saying to not scum read gob and then i put firebringer in the town tier instead of unreadable to antagonize him specifically
so i am going to do this to antagonize everyone saying not to scum read gob
but in reality same as firebringer i am going to give up on reading this slot for now
treat them and firebringer as being their own little island of unreadable by me

i think scum will be able to get a clue as to whether someone is actually cop or not if the inno aligns with the persons reads
now technically
that is rng dependent on if the random inno of the actual cop actually lined up with someone they can town read

if it is the case where rng favored the cops inno then dragons strategy works fine and is probably more healthy for everyone
but i think at least a few of us should do something like rolling randomly for who their inno will be so that if the random inno ends up on someone the cop cannot justify a town read on they do not stick out like a sore thumb

and dragons strategy is intuitive so

there is the question of what the strategy day 2 and on should be

cause unfortunately
the optimal cop strategy is to hunt scum directly instead of confirming a towncore

which means hypoclaims from day 2 onward will best be on people you are scumreading in order to hide the actual cop
and uh
well that kind of rules out dragons strategy to begin with
