This is a serious vote. Based on ~vibes~ so far, Thom seems different right now compared to the game that I was in with him where he was town. I'm not quite sure how to explain it but it feels like he's nervous. But maybe that could just be a basic read since there isn't much to go off right now

I play off the vibes of other players early game until I see something substantial that I can latch onto. DE70 was being jokey, so I was being jokey too.

You are correct though tbf, I am probably playing different than the game you are referencing, because the vibes at the start were different.

I empathize with this, I often get scumread for "playing differently" but I often just try different playstyles each game.

*That being said, you're right I do have a tendency to have a great deal of disdain for D1 if the town is being bad and will just disappear until late game after the distracting voices have died off before participating. You probably caught me in one of those games.

I don't remember the issue in those prior cases being bad town
I moreso recall high post density causing your motivation to drown

Ah yeah that'd do it, that's one and the same to me. Town posting at high velocity with extreme fluff to post ratio is antitown, you end up drowning out actually useful posts in addition to providing scum an easy haven to blend into. Activity and banter is fun and all, but ultimately need to be productive overall.
