Hey dunn and cakez I think they're onto our strategy of agreeing with each other. Let's try tripling down and do it even more, they won't expect that. Hail Whatever The Mafia Faction Is Called!
this is not a real argument against "your thought process is made up due to be being unexplained and not correlating to new developments" btw.
the argument that you have to be playing poorly as scum to be scum is not a good argument when, in fact, you could just be playing poorly due to the gamestate being stacked against you due to people finding eachother town and so on.
although I would counter that none of the people mentioned are a major wagon right now so that assertion is devoid of gamestate context.
it also ignores that I have, for all of the people you are trying to link to yourself - explored town plausible scenarios for all and presented them to some degree. Something you have not offered to anyone - the uncharatibility towards my play feels forced from your end due to the gross negligence of new info. I don't remember you being a person who does nooby tunnels in this manner.
All I can gather from you is that I'm scum because I supposedly changed my reads to fit who is FOSing me for manipulative reasons - something that those that are reading carefully - have noted is not the case at all. I did sandbag the early game. That was partially due to IRL circumstances and partially due to a lack of feeling of where I should be actively pushing towards at the time. I didn't feel like this was a PL where just pushing something random was necessary due to the abundance of people I am already familiar with and most of them being not more sortable by being pushed except for like Pooky who I found as town without needing to push them.
And lets put forth the scenario where I am scum and you are town, and I will explain why your play, in this case, is completely ineffective against me: Your refusal to engage at my level of discussion only makes you look worse objectively. It only makes me look better and have better cred and with the right kill or 2 will completely ruin your ability to swing the game to get them to kill me within a reasonable time frame before I can manipulate the gamestate to be as unsolvable as possible in the late game. You should be happy to engage to to see what I might spew, to see if you might be wrong, to see what I might do.
But instead it seems - to me - that your objective seems to be just to gain an elimination here and not provide much of your own thought process, or holistic view. When a good portion of the rest of the PL has to some extent laid out this process on the table - it means, at least to me, that by default you have to be mafia here.
If its not clear from how I spoke about Dunn in my last series of posts about him - I am at least, objectively, looking to appear to be genuinely solving people by considering different scenarios and contexts - something that shuts down your narrative that I just scumread people who scumread me. Frankly, it doesn't matter because scum can choose to push 1 player collectively. I don't need to have a bottom 4 of a mixed group, while its unlikely statistically, it is not *impossible* statistically. T3 I have maintained a steady townread on - and only slightly dropped them because of others' paranoia of them, which I tend to look to sheep when people have better recent experiences with a player. I personally have a poor record of reading T3 so I prefer to outsource my read if possible while still attempting in good faith to do it myself. PP was null for me having not displayed much of anything resembling a thought process until voting me - which was clear to be a push he personally supported rather than just wagons he was joining. Cakez was low in my reads well before he spoke about my slot and was a reaction to how he treated Pooky. Dunn was a townread early on due to familiarity with his playstyle and dropped due to feeling he was not reaching a BoP. This was later remedied when I reestablished a baseline for his play - which did not take into account he is not a social reads type of player but moreso a mech read player. And you? You have not given a take I felt has been more than surface level this entire game and when prodded to provide more repeatedly, you have given nothing of value. So, frankly, please stop giving excuses because its an insult to all of our intelligences and no one is buying your crap at this point.
