This feels really weird to me. Almost like Naerys forgot for a second that she's trying a "I want to be faded angle" and she started to solve again. When Thom questions her read she just says "Bye" and "I want to get D1 limmed". Then she gives a final solving theory under the assumption that she is the guaranteed fade. It just doesn't feel very real to me

Alright, playing devil's advocate. Why is this weird posting necessarily wolfy? Because I can definitely understand what you're seeing, I am not entirely sure a wolf would be doing this

If Naerys is scum I don't think she would be doing this on purpose. I think some scum players are worse at handling pressure than others. I'm not sure if Naerys is one of these players but based on a very weak personality read I've gotten on her over the course of a few recent games, I think she could be

I'm getting the vibe that she's flailing a little and not sure if she should try to seem townie or if she should keep up her "I want to be faded" tactic which would require her to probably act less townie. I think this behavior is more likely to come from scum buckling under pressure than town that is actually wanting to solve the game. I think there's a disconnect between Naerys's various association posts where she clearly wants to look like she's solving and her sudden willingness to want to stop playing and be faded

I think Naerys might play a certain way as scum and I have a feeling this is what it looks like

Naerys's solving is almost entirely association posts which I don't remember seeing much of in her recent town games. Her ISO is full of them here

Had to go check but in Mini Normal 2316 she had a grand total of ZERO association posts. She never put two people together as scum, not even once. Same for Micro Normal 1094. No pair theories

I don't think she is looking at the game from a town perspective like she was in our recent games. Even aside from the association stuff, she's playing completely different

I think solving and forming legit scumreads is generally much harder as scum and the association stuff could be an easy outlet for her to seem like she has scumreads

I've been waffling on the original post I had and have decided to withhold it for now.

Where I am right now, I still think that Dragon is most likely to flip scum out of the leading nom candidates based off of a number of factors. I also have a sneaking suspicion that there's a good chance he is the strongest PR the wolves have.

Normally I'd be perfectly fine with D1 nomming CCS slot contribution, but I really don't like how that wagon came about. We went from stalled wagons 3 votes apiece on Dragon, Naerys and Thomith, with Thomith being the counterwagon with dragon and naerys voting for him, to suddenly being able to construct a wagon on the lurker. Nothing in his posting had changed, he could've been voted or examined at any time during the day, but no one thought to mention him at all until it came to WAGON HO!

Currently where I'm sitting looks roughly like this.

That conveniently leaves dragon, black and naerys. Is the game really this easy? Maybe. I'm pretty confident that there's at least two scum in that pool (wouldn't shock me if I nailed all 3, but would surprise me a bit playing with a new group of players). I quite like what Black has been doing from a scum perspective, and in my eyes it makes the most sense that it stems from Dragon being scum. Plus, she's no longer a fluffy adorable Umbreon. If Dragon flips scum, she is buddy #1 and needs to be TURBONOMMED accordingly.

So TL;DR, at the moment I think the game is fairly straight forward, with Dragon likely to be scum and his buddies being pretty obvious post-flip. Therefore I'm happiest with a Dragon nom today.

Karnage+Flavor leaf is very unlikely, but that would be kinda dangerous combination imho

So she's certainly capable of thinking of the game in this way as town. This was at the very end of the game though and not all throughout D1, so idk. She didn't make associations earlier in that game

Yes but (and I mean no offense) they seem a bit like a generic player... it's not that I can't read them, I just have no idea about the meta.

The hell does that mean? Like not offense-wise, but there's literally no player on this site whose playstyle I cannot characterize as idiosyncratic in some way.

Also I've accidentally become Not_Mafia and will insta hammer any wagon that gets E-1.

What I mean is that I struggle to describe how you play. Maybe it's a skill issue but idk where to read from here until there's a flip.

Actually I got a few minutes to spare before I have to go, I want this slot to be pressured more. They're not doing nearly enough, and I wanted to see if their apprehensive demeanour was something they usually do but as they hadn't answered me I will have to go from my own understanding of them. Whenever they seem to make any argument they seem to be able to do it with no real issues but when poked even a small bit they back out in one form or another, I don't like that at all. They're walking on egg-shells. In addition, I myself have a theory I wanna poke at and that is if majority of the vocal players are town in this game, scum!kitty would be more likely to be apprehensive like they are as they wouldn't want to overstep, this is just a off the brain theory though I hold no weight to that.

I don't do scumreads in terms of teams, basically how I feel they are scummy individually. Because odds are I could be wrong if I try to do scumteams.
