i think in the coalition game one of the things that i found towny about you (disclaimer that i don't know if i actually did townread you for it in game but in hindsight it is one of the things that sticks out in memory as towny) was i guess a sort of unabashed being towny in your own way sort of vibe. like for example, how you didn't really even have a scumread for quite a while to start the game. but you also didn't feel like you cared about needing to

here i feel like there is less of that and more of what seems to me like an attempt to fit in to usual towny behavior and also like an awareness that maybe you aren't quite reaching a bar that you feel like you're supposed to

Haven't read the coalition game but it's the difference between not being traditionally townie and not really giving a shit vs trying to be the model classical townie but also being aware you're not quite hitting those classical townie notes
