can't argue with you because that's true and you're right that it's a common scumplay choice. but at the same time i can. self-meta arguments suck ass but i promise you my scumplay is way better than this... i would probably be hard deepwolfing at this point as scum actually maybe not i do suck at playing scum but you know what i mean
i assume that your scumplay adjusts to the situation and that if you are a scums it
could
be better than this but also that there is no need for it to be at this time
maybe i am being unfair to you because i think we are somewhat similar so in lieu of the actual meta i'm just filling in myself which then feels like there are town aspects missing
like all of the individual parts check out but put together it feels incomplete but maybe being unfair yea

shiki im sorry if this sounds pockety but i think i'd trust you with my life at this point. you could lead a wagon on me and id just be like "ok go ahead" u seem so chill
this game was nice because i didn't have to do the thing to get to this point which is probably part of why i seem so chill
i mean it should probably be better than this, if i were scum here i'd freak out every time i log onto the site because my partners would both be gone and i'd have no idea how to win the game amidst all our hypercompetent town players and thus want to become one of the competent townplayers
i do think you're a bit unfair but its not like a Massively Terrible And Unfair Thing

idk i thhink scum here wants to kill anyone who's confirmed or towny
what do you think has happened to the nightkill the last two nights?
no like.. that's obvious, yes, but if scum is to kill someone it's definitely someone who's close to confirmed town which just so happens to be dann and sky
jailkeep in {bellaphant, shaddowez, projectry, jupiterxv}
if there's a nightkill then there's a clear
why am i in the pool out of curiosity
am i just not towny enough
i think you're the towniest one in the pool just not enough reason to remove you from the pool because the play wouldn't be inconsistent with a scum!you world and there's nothing that feels outer limits unlikely to come from a scums
): ok
i think the posts on main have a pretty nervous energy to them, and the way he interacts with shiki feels like he's worried about how she's seeing him and trying to appease
but it is true that i also found a lot of examples where people voted him and he didn't really have that kind of reaction so idk maybe it's not a conclusive point
i don't think he ever had the kind of "ok but you're wrong" energy in a reaction to being suspected though like he's had here, except for when he was being scumread for the wrong reasons
I think it would be more accurate to look at the early game when both of his scum buddies were alive. That would more accurately represent his situation here if he's scum

Is there anything stopping Jupiter from being scum scumread for the wrong reasons here?

I don't believe his confidence in Jupiter is real. And I don't think his read progression on me makes sense. I don't think it's a coincidence that Dann moved me down after I questioned him for townreading me. The reasons don't really align in a way that makes it feel natural either. He says it's because I'm not solving or making teams but I've already posted partner thoughts based on if Jupiter flips scum and I'm solving in my usual way
Dann's position towards me just doesn't add up. I think town!Dann would have been way more wary of me early. I don't think he would have townread my tunneled push on Jupiter because in a game that literally just ended I tunneled pushed gob at the start and I was scum. I think it's more likely he was trying some sort of pocketing "I townread you so you'll townread me" thing and when it didn't work he decided to move me into his PoE.
If it helps we had similar thoughts of you being town early then dropping when you kept on the Jupiter tunnel without really doing anything, it's just that that went away when you started reading other slots too

Why did I drop
And how confident are you in your Jupiter read
i am not really getting the sense you’re trying to solve the game. You feel extremely tunnel visiony in pushing jupiter and i think you’re usually trying to put together teams and stuff by now and you’re just… not really doing any of that

1. I like wagons
2. I don't really think python is scum so I want a counter wagon going
3. Jupiter is gone until Sunday and no one really seems to want to help me wagon him so my vote was getting kinda stale
4. I don't townread you

the fact that tris seems confused by this rather than being like "oh i see what you mean however that is because of x and y and not because i am scum" is sort of making me doubt tbh
and also kind of not sure about python's approach here
UNVOTE:
ill still grab some posts that made me think that in a minute @tris
I don't see why scum!tris couldn't be confused about this

Don't forget the post where I did what Dann is accusing me of not doing

That just made me realize scum are probably more willing to openly defend their buddies in this setup since fading scum is even more punishing for them
Using this logic then Dann or fire could be partnered with Jupiter if he flips scum

What is your read on Dann?
i did look at the early game and didn't find any instances of what i described in 876
dann i started to townread more when he turned on me but i kinda expected it to end with a "yeah sorry guys that was a reaction test" and the last page made me concerned that it could be a scum thing to do. i think im landing on still unresolved and id like to see what he has to say. i do agree with him on most of his reads besides the one on me
that said i did have the thought that if you're scum then the timing of your vote on him is like very precisely strategically correct if he's town. like following the playbook down to the letter. and that did catch my attention a bit

i would say it doesn't really feel applicable here, that's my point
in that case it was "your reasons are wrong" where here it feels more like "your read is wrong"
the problem is i read a post and im like hmm, that sounds reasonable, and then i read another post saying the opposite and im like hmm that also sounds reasonable
