Roden is completely off my radar. My initial thought is that he's very lurky an unproductive as town so I don't really have a good read there

I don’t know why it’s so hard to wrap your head around the fact that I’d have a strong binary read on someone I just had the opposite read on (correctly) in a different game

you're looking for this big obvious difference (which mayhaps is my mistake if i made it sound like there was one) but it's more in the tone and the framing and the fact that he chose to say it at all
i chose to say it because it's a very recent thing that successfully worked and made me think "hm, maybe this is a high percentage type of scum tell to use"
my underlying motivation was less "look at me i have a process" and more "im excited to share this thing that i think works"
(i speak from experience he poked me so hard in my scumgame hed like leave me alone for a bit then poke me again and leave me alone and then poke me again. it was honestly pretty terrifying) (like he was incredibly spontaneous there and changed his reads a lot)
