Ugh I'm really not in the right headspace for this stuff right now, but the idea of voting Klick day one still feels bad to me. Even if Dan knows who the detective is that doesn't make his scumreads correct. I don't have much reason to have confidence in them.

obvious he's just trying to fish a claim from the actual Assistant/Detective. Last time Vanderscamp similarly claimed Assistant and was thankfully eradicated by the Detective, but that's the core of it: Lure out Det/Assistant. VS was eradicated by Det's Condemn and then Det was summarily killed by Kira and we had to solve the game in one day.

Do you actually think, especially now that we've discussed it, that that's going to happen? That AD is a dumb enough follower to just claim det or assistant knowing full well he might be killed by Kira? AD has probably already established to Kira that he's a follower if he's fakeclaiming, which again, he probably is.

If Dan is fake claiming, Assistant CC's right now and votes and Detective stays silent and doesn't condemn. Which tbh kinda sucks.
Okay yeah I can see why it's a problem if he doesn't straight up. Claim because this kinda forces the Adsidtant to claim and Assistant is not nightkill proof like detective, and if they die Detective becomes useless.
And tbh if detective claims today they get killed N2 after N1 Shinigami eyes.
Do you think a Follower would just completely gunk up Kira's kit like that? Make him waste a night killing a follower in the first place, Assassinate or no?

Oh yeah, forgot that existed bexause it's explictly against the actual lore and I am rewatching Death Note right now and it would be insane if Light could just hire an assassin to hit on L without finding his name.
