Uh, so, it is and it isn’t. disagree on the premise because I don’t think, well understanding my own framework of thinking that it’s cognitively possible to create roles after knowing people’s alignments and not have the result be shaped by it. It seems fantasyish a polite pretend rather than an actual expectation I can have of them.

Ichirin has hit the point where they just come and respond to everything I say by blindly calling me wrong without actually putting any brain power to any of the things that I say.

It is really hard to feel like sie is engaging with me in good faith, regardless of their alignment (which is kinda ironic tbh).

So I am gonna try my best to ignore the things they say directed at me, but I am notoriously lacking in self control to do that.

I actually think that the role, as claimed, it is +ev for a town!Ichirin to choose to not act every night of the game, which feels kinda bad if true.

But I am happy ignoring the role when deciding my read, and was more stating that the role does not make me want to save them for another day.

Yeah if I get this pm with a town alignment I call myself a miller and claim negative utility when visited out the gate. But like, some people also just don't agree with me that negative utility shit shouldn't be touched so that's why you get wild shit like town lightning rods firing because they feel like it when they can choose not to in the early game.

For a second I thought ichirin wrote this and I was nodding my head along and going that’s reasonable yes. But didn’t they start saying it was useful a nd.. yeah The math is very against them.
Except for the redirect which could be leveraged right I think in more than half their scenarios.

The rest gives me cold feet. That level of responsibility/personal power makes my ears burn.

In some ways I'm more likely to submit that mod meta should include stuff like Steam Game upick and Green Hair upick. And magical girl upick, naturally.

The one I linked had unwnd as the mod and Yukari was actually a player in that game, but I personally don't know why we are trying to expand the mod meta to all touhou games in the first place.

I think somebody near the start of the game to one of the negative utility claims noted that they'd be mad getting such a role as town, and Ichi's role is like, Isekai upick levels of suffering a bad role.

She's a rat too if she actually believes it. I missed that and "oops all scummy bullshit" from Koishi at first, and especially now that I know I'm not just condemning all of town to being Hated for a day this is a pretty Neat role for town, especially the random and deliberate redirection.

I share the mod’s opinion. It’s funny and flavorful.
It’s not impossible to circumvent so I wasn’t annoyed by it at all.

I just came up with an approach that I felt was more in tune with my alignment in regards to how to approach it.
