Me? I’ve dipped for a pretty extended period of time incredibly recently. Actively avoiding responding to skitter and HEM right away (cuz it was frustrating) I don’t see how this applies to me

i dont mean to sound mean or kill joy. please enjoy the game. but also, there's value in slowing down. i can also spam as much as i want (i call it spam, because that's what i call posting multiple times per day) but it really is a week left and the other people I'm thinking about are newbies who will be overwhelmed with the amount of content they need to chew on. i don't want things to be buried and i want to give the initiative to people who aren't often here. I'm thinking: how will this person react to this? how will this person try and find scum from this gamestate? that's very valuable if i want to get info on their slot. but it won't be as valuable if they won't be able to react because the moment has passed, or can hide among the multiple posts here. please understand my point of view.

The beauty of forums is that you can quote whatever post you want, whenever you want ;)

and think about it. do i, as scum, want the gamestate to slow down where I'm the top scum pick for most of the wagon? is that really my agenda here? maybe I'm town who wants the thread to be a little more parsable for other newbies. not everybody has the same energy.

for example, i have half the mind that purple's post was that way because he was overwhelmed with the amount of stuff he needed to respond on and he skipped a bunch of stuff. now, i can't eliminate that possibility if the game won't slow down and he won't be given the chance to take initiative. you see where I'm going with this?

you have, but you were also posting fast and often before that. some people (e.g. purplemango) have done little or no liveposing at all.

JV, you can't really be unaware how being slung with multiple posts of stuff you need to read can be hurtful to gamestate, can you? are you disputing this?

I don’t think we should shackle ourselves substantially because of lowposters. Is the spam excessive? Probably but not everything is about super strict optimal plays

If you could elaborate on a single read beyond one town in ketchup/kay having one town. That would be a good start

sentence is weird. i'm top scum pick for most of the people here. i mean to say top wagon. yes i think that's accurate. the past pages have been about dragon or me being scum.

You think you’re the top scum pick/wagon for most of the people here? I don’t see that re: me, Jackson, Zach, ydra, skitter, purple…

I do livepost sometimes, my problem is that my time zone is very different and i can't play in a good way at like 3am and also take time so alot of the time i just leave it and comeback later
I'll try to post more tho

Here’s my overview of
PurpleMango
in this game thus far:

His first few posts were fluff, joining in with the rest of us. NAI in any way.

His first seemingly serious posts are defending sleepy/skitter-slot: , , , , .

Moving the conversation onto someone else: .

Asking dragon about his sus on sleepy/skitter-slot: , , .

Being quite irresolute with his reads: , , , .

Makes a solid claim about reads in but then walks it back immediately into uncertain territory with .

More ambiguity with .

First real reads in but then gets slightly less sturdy with and .

It feels like the willingness to vote skitter in is disingenuous distancing? (possibly)

Offers to expand on the one thing he seems most certain of in , we shall see if that post ever comes to fruition.

My conclusion is that if he is scum, it seems very likely that it’s with skitter just from his ISO. But this is a tentative idea in my head.

Any and all comments, criticisms, and responses are quite welcome.

I did think that their behaviour surrounding skitter was awkward, they were committing to a push without believing in it which isn’t a great look. I initially wrote that as townie because it’s kinda goofy to not at least pretend you believe who you’re voting is scummy. Even if that were just the easiest way with just “vibes”.

So the theory that they’re likely wolf with skitter (if they’re wolf at all) holds some weight as it could justify that behaviour somewhat
