Purple keeps the claim going cuz it's a pr-trade to "keep them safe" so you can survive this elim because of a PR claim but also retract it later after you kill purple so you're not at risk of getting cc'd.

i would have simply thought that ketchup was scum because he was counterclaimed. i can see your logic here, but it's just one in an explanation of many.

Well this is certainly a turn of events (referring to both the flip and HEM's bombastic entrance).

For the record, I think the only motivator for scum to kill purple here is fear of thudding into a doctor. Jack had some kind of "analysis" he shared at EoD2 that made him conclude Purple was FN (ultimately true, nice job JV), but if the last scum is a newer person who doesn't have a massive sample size of games with JV, they might not trust that as much; as it happens, that describes all three of us who are still in PoE.

If HEM is cleared as town from Jack's track, I'd be more than willing to just sheep him at this point. Both of the remaining scum candidates have been scumread by me to some extent so it's not the worst thing to lose either of them, even if one (zach) strongly townreads me.

Currently I plan to vote Kay but doing so would put her at E-1, which is probably premature.

I think scum would have had the information on what the setup was on Night 2. Like I said, I don't want to assume anyone was a goof.

Yes, I thought it was implied. Ketchup said he made up that claim because he knew purple was clear and that could only happen if he’s telling the truth. The green flip confirmed to me that purple and Jack were the 2 non-vanilla town. So why would anyone be worried about a doctor?

I was 90% sure purple was FN after the flip. The remaining 10% comes from the idea that this was all a gigabrained reverse-psychology gamble on JV's part to trick scum into fearing purple as a doctor

No I can’t rule out Zach because if you cleared HEM, it has to be either Zach or Flush. I don’t want to assume anything about why they killed purple or if it was a mistake or some deeper strategy. It’s one of them and we will win if we vote them both out. I don’t think I NEED to rule out Zach in this position and doing so would be shortsighted on my part even if it “makes sense” that it wouldn’t be him. Nothing’s certain until you get actual confirmation. Which you got on HEM. And I know I’m town.
