Wouldn't claiming a power role in a mountainous game be ridiculous?

And this post:
"I'd agree with that except for the fat that I'm in a game currently where on the first day, someone got put at L-1 and a random townie waltzed in and hammered before anyone could react. Albeit, we did hit scum, but it left us completely without leads on day 2." is so weird. Like they got scum day 1, but HE'S LAMENTING THAT CATCHING SCUM DAY 1 LEFT THEM WITHOUT LEADS THE NEXT DAY.

So maybe we should work harder to try to lynch townies on day 1 to have leads the next day?

How come you guys didn't catch that absolute scum-gem?

Adel wrote:
Nominate Kison
for
Best Performance by an Individual (Scum)
for his performance in Space Monkey Mafia 2: Pigs in Space!.

In this post he set up everyone on the MikeBurnFire wagon (Lawrencelot, ooba, Erg0, mikeburnfire, armlx, Rogueben) for a later lynch and basically confirming himself as town for the rest of the game. He was never investigated by the tracker, and he never made a kill (until the end game) so the watcher never had a chance of catching him.
armlx and Rogueben were killed by the directed-kill of the town, and all three of the Traitor Pigs survived the game.
If that wasn't enough, he also ran a full game bus of The Fonz (his scum buddy) that was just strong enough for everyone to conclude that they couldn't both be scum. Both of them survived the game.

tl:dr version: There was no way Kison could've lost in this game.
I've been thinking about this one and I'm afraid from my vantage point if I were to nom Kison for this it would be partially removing the blame for the town loss from my shoulders. Which begs the question does one deserve a Scummy when playing against a pathetic oponent? However, his move on that MBF lynch totally threw me. I don't know if anyone else fell for it as deeply as I. But I'll let the judges decide I guess.

Adel wrote:what made it enjoyable to y'all? Judging the scummies is a pain, and this category is one of the most subjective. Whate elements of the set-up, rule set, and excution of cicero's mod duties made this game so enjoyable?
I think it was the abundance of cicero.

Thanks for the nod cicero.
cicero wrote:Except his team won AND the PRs killed him... depends on how you define "losing cause" I guess. It was hilarious though.
This is why I love DGB.

Also I think I already seconded iPick, but Adel's set-up was as much fun to watch as it was to play in.

Korts wrote:"Look, a three-headed monkey!" would be a better name and a cool reference for the best derailing of a scumbuddy lynch award.

EDIT: but I do support both of them, although those awards would mean even more hard work for the judges...
"Look Something Shiney" is clearly superior.

And I don't think farside needs any more noms, but nice work. I didn't even notice you took over the queue, I thought you were just really eager to get your open games goin :P

If you're going to propose those awards at lesat nominate a player for them.

What about "best use of haiku town."
Certainly no self promotion here.

based off of the information posted in the "replacement meta-game" thread http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... highlight=
nominate
Mr. Flay, Scruffs, and JDodge for White Night.
Second these three with the caveat that I'm not sure what year most of the replacements came in.

Question for judges; does it help you guys if people up for "across game" awards compile a list of all town/scum games that were played in the specified calendar year?

Also suggest Baker for Best Role
