Sir seems pretty townish right now, but not that much to go on.

hohum is sort of hard to read from what he has said, he seems more annoyed, as I am, to be in a game with so many newbies, this really feels like a newbie game.

zwet doesn't really feel right to me, though, I'm not sure what.

I agree that we need to leave ThaCoolness alive, and that the cop shouldn't claim (Although I think it is possible that he is the real cop due to all of these newbies), at least until tomorrow, and if they can, please clear or accuse anyone you may have found the alignment of.

It usually means "For the Win" but could be something completely different in mafia, not sure.

I meant for the win when I said FTW.
I believed I said something along the lines of "It will be mafia FTW", but that isn't a direct quote. Basically I meant Mafia will win in the situation I explained.

Yes, I am a newbie. I have seen many games played though, not on this site, by my brother, and know some basic strategy.

It isn't that this game is confusing, it's that the whole town has stopped contributing since we got off the last wagon.

Nonsense posts suck, and it's a way for people to fly under the radar, but there's enough people here doing it that it's hard to really call anyone out for it.

I've attempted to jumpstart life back into this thread again.

So far a few of the posts you've made has caused me to raise my eyebrows.

I think we need to reread the thread and find out who isn't posting and who is purposfully trying to lay low right now. I think if we do that, analytically speaking, we've got a good chance of finding Coolness' scum partner.

OK. Time for analysis.

Initial wagon - Coolness.

Dej and Nicolios originally voted for him.

Shortly after, Ruler added his vote, but retracted it a few minutes later, realizing he was at L-1. (I learned that term earlier)

So, I'd say Dej and Nico aren't related to Coolness in any way.

But.. When Coolness claimed he was a cop...

I'd say that, well, the mafia should have jumped on him with attempted excuses, in order to deprive the town of their power role, hoping their excuses were good enough to prevent them from being lynched Day 2.

However, to Coolness' fortune, the bandwagon backed down and switched to Sironigous.

His semi-claim was based on a Dej's retracted statement and with nonsense posts like "scum hunting" before that.

Notice though that Sironigous voted before Dej made his statement. Therefore, he couldn't have had any real stuff on Dej.

Sironigous' questioning was primarily investigated by hohum and then Dej himself. Nico said a few words here and there.

So, currently, Sironigous will state directly:

He believes that Coolness is scum. His partner could be Ruler (unnoticed L-1 vote with quick retraction).

What bugs me is why Coolness didn't jump on the Sironigous band wagon questioning though... Ruler didn't because he wasn't here. Nico did a little. Zwet posed a few questions. Hohum led it. Dej co-led it.

I don't believe Dej is scum with Coolness because of his initial "joke" vote on Coolness.

Now, when coolness claimed (or fake claimed), he did use L-1. How would a newbie (like myself) know this term?... Possibly by reading other games but...

The main point is that he DID attempt to claim.

Now, his partner. Sironigous?

Well, had Sironigous not been his partner, he would've jumped to this long passage and voted for Coolness then and there.

Maybe, Dej had the initial joke vote, but did retract it - doesn't tell much. However, Coolness didn't band with him in the Sironigous investigation. Was Coolness inactive then?

Sironigous thinks no. She had the second initial vote on him with a more valid reason then Dej.

No idea - no interaction (that Sironigous found) with Coolness.

I'll be honest, I could hardly follow any of that post. I don't know if it was just me or not, but...

As for what's going on. It seems like we haven't been making much progress at all. There seems to be a lot of posts that root from people playing their first game, which makes it a little hard to get a discussion going. So far all I've noticed was Sir voting me with no reason, but I think that stemmed from "newbieness" (I may take more notice to it later though).
