Well, looks like SP slipped that he's scum, just gotta figure out what scum he is.
I've read the first 7 pages so far, and everything since I've replaced in. Still trying to get caught up, have a few thoughts on some players that I wrote down somewhere, but after one read, it's going to require more in-depth readings to see who's trying to protect who to prevent cult leaders or God from getting lynched.AIM account: DolusDeceit [s]not al_kohaulec[/s]-

Okay, no need to be snippy about it.Bloodmoney wrote:BTW xofelf, thanks for replacing, now that you had some things clarified for you it'd be nice to have a set of opinions from you. Like nowish.
I'm not going to do this in any particular order. But I'm going to address each player individually in separate posts. So, please wait your turn. I WILL get to you. Just not necessarily very quickly.
Well as he wanted my opinions,Bloodmoneygets to go first.
In the first 5 or so of your posts you accuse people of opportunism. Isn't that how the majority of people play? You take advantage of what is given to you in order to achieve whatever win condition you have to meet.
After that, you get extremely angry at just about everyone. Emotions aren't supposed to have much sway in this game, am i right? This is supposed to be based off of logic and thought. Or at least, that's what I've been told.
Something that you do, that I do not like at all, is the way you make up your mind that someone is a specific role and no matter what they say, it doesn't change your opinion.
If you'd like me to quote specific instances, I will.
One last thing, as much as some of what you say maybenefitthe town, overall it seems like you're flailing out and attacking just about everyone and anyone if they do something that you don't think is in the towns andyourbest interest.Xalxe: this is xofelf sometimes we call each other names and other times we share emotions

You're supposed to conclude what I said I voted you for.DrippingGoofball wrote:Well you just set out to prove that scum doesn't always vote for the purpose of distancing, and then proceeded to vote for me as an example of this.
What am I supposed to conclude, other than that you're some kind of scum?
What I originally said in that post is that when distancing happens, it isn't always a scum reaction. In the following post, I worded it differently, saying that scum don't always distance. My vote for you isn't a response to that claim, but a result of your sudden dropping of a long-held case for someone who you described as being distanced by many. The fact that everyone thinks any distancing in this game at all is automatically scummy is the basis of the argument, and suggesting that I'm scum because I actually believe in my argument is bogus. Because I think abortion should be legal doesn't make me a Democrat. You are taking only a part of what I think scummy people do and matching it to a part of my actions, when I obviously haven't told you completely how I think scummy people act andMy Post 606 wrote: So a meta reason for increased activity in one game but not others? I don't like that. It's almost as bad as saying someone is avoiding arguments because they are on the forums but not responding to the thread.
And saying you're wrong about a case that you've been making the entire game doesn't sit well either. A lot of the "connections" made in this game have been orchestrated by various people, drawing on little or no evidence. Therefore, distancing is a natural process that occurs when the connection is false, not necessarily scumlike. Saying so many people are distancing from one person (especially when you are/were one of them) makes think bus.
Vote: DGBwhether or not I actually act that way when I'm scum.
In the end, I found something DGB did that was scummy and I voted her for it.[i]Currently lurking about...

It is quite clear that zwet is trying to disrupt the town. That is what could possebly be a culted-tell. On the other hand, why would zwet be culted?
I thought he was slightly defensive of DGB last pages, and that would leave DGB, what? God?
I think DGB would be a likely target to cult, am I wrong?
Zwet also is quite offensive, or disruptive about two people: Jebus and Bloodmoney, two people that I consider towny. That would fit in with this theory.
I think I support lurking-qwints-scum theory.unvote vote qwints-

I'm pretty sure this refers to all your crazy posts earlier in this day.
Means unless you've got something to contribute/question, don't post. Being the person with the largest number of posts in a topic is something to be proud of normally, but in this case, a vast majority of your posts are simply one liners, and as I said, one liners may be nice on the eyes in the short term, but they hardly explain anything most of the time. Quotes/post numbers are necessary to know what you're referring to when you post. In a game where jumping to conclusions isn't a good idea, you can't expect people to assume you were referring to a certain post.
Aka, volume of content in posts needs to increase.Bastard ModGod. Mislynch fodder. Suave savior.-

I don't see how SP "outed" himself as scum and I don't see how anyone could get to that interpretation from that quote.
Interesting. It sounds like pacman wants zwet to shut up before he says too much and gets killed.pacman281292 wrote:mm... if you have nothing to say, don't spam. Every thing you say can be used against you (as now).
I feel that we're giving some lurkers a free pass this way. There's a bunch of people who could be scum but we wouldn't know because they only have a few posts that are mostly fluff.Jebus wrote:Means unless you've got something to contribute/question, don't post.-

There's a line that can be drawn on how far someone can use that logic as a pass to lurk, though. For instance, pacman previously was well over that.Jahudo wrote:

You are misinterpretating. I meant that posting those shameless spammy distracting posts are bad. He is distracting the discussion, and breaking it, so it's hard to catch some info. I dislike that. So, he must stop doing that. Am I clear?ShowCurrent statistics (not counting games previous to June 2010):

There wasn't much of a case on ortolan - I just brought him up. I plan on making one when I get time next.zwetschenwasser wrote:I don't see the case on quintz or ortolan. Jebus is God, Bloodmoney is Islam, and Pacman is Christian. See?
Qwints does have a case on him. I'll repost this once I get a good chunk of time.
And I'd like you to restate your case on me as God. I can't find anything that was ever solid, I'd really like to have a "This is what we've got against you" rather than a "go find this, we've got something against you that we can't really back up due to laziness/inability to actually get hard evidence".
I can see the case on Pacman though - lurking and general indifference.
I don't, however, see the case on Bloodmoney. And again, please post/repost this one.Bastard ModGod. Mislynch fodder. Suave savior.-
