Is a person eligible for that if the setup is their own and the game was only played to prove a point that he doesn't like the way the open queue works?Shanba wrote:I propose an award for abusing and breaking setups, to distinguish that from scumhunting, which is the paragon award.

Even if Jdodge were nominated, he would never win, and he's almost certainly not going to be nominated anyway. No, the point of this was that I heard a lot of people saying that Kinetic didn't really scumhunt, he just used the setup to win the game, which is another laudable mafia skill, but not what the paragon of mafia hunters award is for. I have no opinion on this, because I haven't read the games in question, but I think that anyway such a skillKmd4390 wrote:

That's just the point - breaking the setup isn't catching scum! You can force a town win without ever knowing who the scum are.The Fonz wrote:The quirks of a setup are part of the game. Does it result in the scum dying? If so, it falls under the umbrella of 'catching scum.'Shanba wrote:

But when you're doing so as an experiment which acts as a catalyst in a wave of changes in the queue system as a whole?charter wrote:..But not when you create the setup so you can break it.-

If you had a hypothetical setup with a role whereby you can kill all the scum at any time by PMing the mod "go", and did so, would you have caught scum by scumhunting? The Fonz wrote:Does it result in the scum dying? If so, it falls under the umbrella of 'catching scum.'Succinctness is pro-town.
