Game Name:California Trilogy 3: City of Angels
The Flavour:Mr. Grey Studios is producing a blockbuster third film after the cult success of his two previous movies (though fans are still arguing over the meaning). No expense has been spared - he's even hiring real actors this time.
But as the actors rehearse the improv-heavy script, the "stunts" begin to go awry...

Flavour:Dawn of the First Day
Three weeks of destruction. Three weeks of childish pranks by that imp. You thought them mostly harmless. You were wrong.
You woke up this morning to be confronted by three difficulties.
1) The sixteen of you had been changed overnight, so that you would have to either wear a mask or die. (Luckily for you, Termina has quite a few masks lying around.) Every other inhabitant of the town has gone missing, and thanks to the masks you can't tell who else is left.
2) The Skull Kid was found dead in North Clock Town, with the mask he was wearing previously missing. A damaged Ocarina was found by his body - it may be repairable, but you would need time to do so, and time is the one thing you don't have...
3) You found a note in the Observatory, from the vanished? Astronomer. Its message is simple: unless it can be stopped, the Moon will crash into Termina in three days.
Majora's Mask is missing. The Ocarina of Time is damaged. You have only one hope.

Flavor: The date is the 23rd of June, 2001.
The DeFoe Manor has lain empty, poorly watched over by two aging policemen, for three days now. THey've heard the occasional creak, or moan, but wisely ignored it as the building settling. Now, however, it looks like they may have some trouble to deal with.
"A crowd of cameramen, one poor sod dragging what looks like the whole BBC wardrobe... looks like someone heard we were out here and could use some entertainment, mate." One cop sauntered forward, shining his torch into the leader of the group. "Alright, mate, this area is sealed off until forensics get their arse down here tomorrow. No-one in, no cameras, nothing. That's my orders, mate, sorry." The lead figure, a slightly harassed looking young man, drew himself up, fiddling with a small, wispy beard, and nearly blew the policeman's cap off:
"Do you know who I am? I'm a world renowned TV anchor, I'll have you know, and your boss has already said we can come here, you buffoon! Out of the way!" The other police man sighed, "Boss, we can probably let 'em in if we go in with 'em, y'know?"
The cop eyed the TV crew suspiciously, then turned towards the great double doors. "Alright, you can have 5 minutes in the corpse room, but then you're out. Got that?"

The incessant whirring of the camera was the only thing that could be heard... until the anchor began to gabble some nonsense about the Manor's past, some conspiracy theory drivel designed to rope a few viewers in. The leading police guard pushed through the clothes rack being dragged along by some artsy type, for some ineffable but probably trendy reason, and walked to the door of the main drawing room.
"I should warn anyone of a nervous disposition... this won't be pretty. The corpses are pretty mangled." He pushed the door open behind him, and savoured the looks of shock, mild horror and... giggling?
"You, what the hell are you laughing about, you freak?"
In between snorts of laughter, the make-up artists managed three words: "What... frigging... corpses...?"
The policeman turned around, and saw nothing but two empty nooses, one charred horribly by fire. "Interesting, isn't it? No, don't shoot. Whatever's in this house will probably do that for you." A trio of lanky figures unfolded themselves from the shadows, tipping their hats in unison.
" We're thieves, for those who haven't already worked it out.
The two little squirts hiding in the closet," which was opened by one of the historical advisors to the crew, revealing a pair of dusty youths in uniform, "are schoolboys playing a stupid game. They were here when we arrived, over the back wall, yesterday."
The second cop ran in to the room, hearing the laughter, and saw the three men, sans corpus, and jumped to conclusions.
"You bastards, what'd you do with the DeFoes? Where are they?"
The leader of the thieves smiled dryly. "Use some good old Sherlock thinking, Detective. No blood on our clothes, and we're hanging around the scene of the crime. Besides, we have more things to worry about here, my good friend."
"Hang on," said ???, the sound engineer, slowly, "Whaddya mean, whatever's in this house?"
"Follow me, and I'll show you."

"Yes, exactly. His name was The Knight of Cydonia. He was our boss, until about 10 minutes ago, when you idiots barged in. We heard screaming from the corpse room, and found him like this."
The cops leaned as close as they dared to the putrefacting body.
"Throat slit, gutted like a fish... and flayed almost to the bone. Just like Melinda DeFoe."
"So, gentlemen, ladies," ??? tipped his hat to the females who hung back, kandkerchiefs over their mouths, "it would appear that someone here
is playing Silly Buggers, but forgot the rule about no killing people. Unfortunately, we have no wayof knowing who did it, exactly. But we do have a handy noose."
The Best Boy stepped forwards: "And we're not just getting out of here... why?"
"The doors seal themselves, somehow. You lot must be here for a damn good reason, and I'm not sure I want to know why. The tree the kids climbed got hit by lightning last night, and there's no other way to get across. We have to deal with this ourselves, for now."
