Comments:

@Gieff

1. Your post count/character count /post per character count is helpful to fight lurkers, but to actually scum hunt requires you to read the posts. The content in the posts is much more revealing then going by the table alone.

2. Ah much more clearer after I reread. My post was made as I was catching up.

@Tubby
Clarify please because the semantics of that sentence can either mean: I was scum there too in the games you are metaing, or the response you did.

If tubby flips town (for what ever reason since that possibility might exist) scum would dogpile onto him. With 14 people to sift through it'll be hard to sift through but it gives us a direction to begin. Just something to keep in mind if this goes through lynch.

Unvote

Vote: Tubby216

I'm getting tingly bad vibes though just through meta (partial gut feeling).. but that was pretty much a scum confession.

Havent reread all I missed, will post later with more information, but this tubby thing is the hot topic. The scumslip is pretty damning.

I think he is at L-1.

You've twice called for votes against Mariyta, been asked to explain repeatedly, and are continuing to refuse. I dislike that INTENSELY.

Yes, with CKD's triple vote we're at L-1. I'm willing to hammer, but I'd like a final response from tubby if possible.

The interviewees looked like they were just about to reach a decision on who to eliminate from the proceedings, when they heard a bang and crash behind them. They looked around to see Vollkan, lying on the floor, bleeding heavily. Someone suggested calling for a Doctor- rather ironic given the role of the casualty.

Vollkan - Doctor, Slipped on a wet floor, Day 1

It is still Day 1. With 25 players remaining, 13 votes are required to lynch.

Vote Count pending.

Vote Count

Tubby 12 (Gieff, SpyreX, Randomlunatic, Haylen, Crazy, Mariyta, Vi, CKD, CKD, CKD, Charter, DTMaster)
BloodCovenent 3 (IH, Populartajo, ElectricBadger)
Gieff 1 (Benmage)
Randomlunatic 1 (Shanba)
SpyreX 1 (Tubby)
Vollkan 1 (BloodCovenent)
Yosarian 1 (Cicero)
DTMaster 1 (Nikanor)

Not Voting (4): Alkaline, Yosarian2, ZazieR, Seraphim

With 25 votes in play, 13 votes are required to 'lynch'.

Unlike most board rooms, there was some degree of consensus amongst the candidates today, as they concluded Tubby obviously had links to the Mafia, due to his alleged confession, which many claimed to witness. He didn't put up much of a struggle, as the applicants threw him out of the window.

Tubby - Protown Neighbour, Mistaken Victim of Defenestration, Day 1

It is still Day 1, and the votecount has been reset. With 24 votes in play, 13 are required to lynch.

Pah, i fail at votecounts. My mistake, Tubby was not lynched. I will resolve this mistake in due course. However, for now, Tubby
is
dead, and the Day must go on.

Again, apologies. I actually suck. :(

But, the chaos of the ultimate job interview was not to end there. After the delivery of more 'manly' drinks to the board room, Haylen quickly found herself hitting the gin. Before too long, she realised that somebody had spiked her beverage. But, it was too late to do anything, except curl up in the corner and die. :'(

Haylen - Protown Neighbour, Drugged, Day 1

It is still Day 1. With 23 votes in play, 12 votes are required to lynch.

I'm sure there's an unnecessary joke to go with this, but I can't think of it offhand.

I had a couple of scenarios running about what happened with the vollkan/tubby deaths. Unfortunately, after Haylen's death none of them make sense. :(

Reflecting on tubby's apparentnotslip, I sorta guess I can see what tubby was trying to say, but I wouldn't fault anyone for thinking it was a slip. I'm sure there were scum on the wagon, but because the wagon was uncontested I don't know how to pick them off.

My best guess on how to proceed is...

Well, I WAS thinking of imperiously attacking people for posting good information that encouraged contribution, coupled with antagonistically attacking people for being antagonising. But that shtick had been taken so it's back to the drawing board for me.

I can't believe tubby was town. That's just insane. I thought this game was over, we busted tubby easy, and we got a lot of buddying wishy-washy half-defense stuff like "well yeah he's scummy, but we shouldn't lynch him" which I assumed would catch even more scum.

If you are town, STOP KILLING PEOPLE! I don't think that two daykills and one daykill-attempt can all be from scum.

Oops.
Indeed. The game; the only other interpretation I can think of was that Vi was scum in that game too, but that's not the case: Vi was a townie. And otherwise this was one of tubby's most coherent posts, so it's not just a drunken/meds issue.

Tubby - explanation?
EB, if you thought tubby scumslipped, then why didn't you vote him?

For what you were trying to do, that was clever.
For helping with determining your alignment... actually, it may have been good for that too.
I like my SpyreX vote better right now, though.

I'm willing to believe tajo's attack on ElectricBadger was based in a misunderstanding.
Combined with the fact that I've been in a hateful mood recently, I think I can pass on that line of argument entirely.

GIEFF wrote:EB, if you thought tubby scumslipped, then why didn't you vote him?
Lots of reasons.

I didn't want to abandon my pressure vote on charter so easily (well, that I thought was on charter). I'm honestly not sure why there's so little response to his random call to lynch and refusal to explain.

I didn't think my vote was needed purely for pressure. Tubby hasn't seemed to be unwilling to talk, so I didn't feel I needed to vote him until I was ready to kill him.

I wanted to hear a response from tubby before killing him. A claim may have been useful, and wouldn't've hurt town.

You posted the evidence and pushed it as an obv-tell, and that seemed very convenient since you were the main one after his lynch. That made me unwilling to dive in blindly before considering alternate reasons for the comment.

On my second post, I felt that even with such a horrid slip that the wagon had built up very very fast, and wanted to see if someone would quick hammer, which could have been informative.

@ckd, I think the Vollkan death shows that there's at least two groups/individual scum out there, I can't see one group/individual being given a poisoning and the Vollkan "accident", and the Haylen drugging.

But you investigated the alternate explanation and found it to be false, right? How would a vote after that investigation be diving in blindly?

Vi wrote:I'm willing to believe tajo's attack on ElectricBadger was based in a misunderstanding.
What do you mean? I don't think he misunderstood anything.

Vi wrote:Go ahead and give names; I don't mind.

You would be the most obvious buddy, but EB was wishy-washy about tubby in post 303, as was Mariyta in 306. DTM was much more straightforward in 328, but he still was in the "scummy, but tempered by meta" camp.

Tubby's townflip removes any scumpoints you generated from being his buddy, obviously. But you are still on the scummy side based on your attempt to get me to stop being "antagonistic." And you are digging pretty deep to try to make me look scummy, and I don't think it's all just because you're angry.

Individually, I wouldn't think any of the day kills were from town, Vi. But 3 kill attempts in one day would just be too much scumpower.

Did anybody besides DTMaster think it was possible that tubby would flip town?

Well, apparently tubby had very unusual grammar/syntax... I still have no idea what he was trying to say.

I'll go back to my
Vote: BC
for now (for his "serious" vollkan vote); I'll check up on stuff later to see if I spot anything else.
