Magnus 92
You definitely don't seem timid in general, just with your vote. I don't understand why you would at this moment be voting someone you say you have a town read on, so I suspect your motive might be based on a scum alignment.

le Chat, I love the new avatar.
BOO at your 49 where you say you no longer want to hear opinions on this. BOO I say. I can comment both on this and on more current things.
He did respond in post 92 about this issue.

Remind me to say more about that within a few RL days.

Kairyuu is correct in saying iso-RedDye-10 makes iso-RedDye-4 look contradictory/out-of-place. Quick impressions for now - still owe this thread a harder read, but this week will be a bit busy :-(

These last two pages were much better than the first three. I want to see Rosso Carne participating. He posted.

For now:
unvote. Vote Magnus Orion

FOS: le chat

I didn't like 83-85, and Albert is telling me that le Chat is not scummy, even though I'm not fully convinced of his townieness. Time for a bigger bandwagon.

===

Herotodus
, I'm liking your contributions so far, but last two games we played together you were a bit more liberal with your votes. What's happening now?

Albert
, my "find scum in the first three pages" technique was kinda sabotaged with only four players posting for the three pages. I think when I sit to read more carefully the first 6 I might have something better.

You voted Red, but I'm going for Magnus for now. Do you think that Red is much more suspicious than Magnus? Should I be voting Red instead of M_O?

Nuwen
- the difference for me between agreeing and buddying up is the lack of scumhunting content in the later. Le Chat's reply to my post was equally undecisive and after reading 98, I still don't know who he suspects. Although I'm getting weak confused newbie vibes from that post, I like to try and ignore those.

As for why I assumed you a townie, I go from the principle that each player is more likely town than scum at the start of the game (because there are more town than scum in the game), and then they become scummy based on their actions, not the other way around.

(I also give a few free extra townie points in the beginning of the game to players I like. Namely Artem, Albert and You).

Le Chat

I would approve your "let's all be friends together" proposal. Oh, and I messed up my initial post - By "age" I meant our scumage - how long we had been on MS. Ooops :-(

Anyway, your post 98 was more tangled than a kitten's wool ball (thanks for the links, though!). Who do you suspect right now, and why?

Red_Dye

What if there weren't exactly 2 posts that I feel could sum up the case? What if I don't find Artem scummy? I think those 3 pages do the best job of displaying what I wanted to display.
If you didn't find Artem scummy, you could have just said that, and I would ask you why you were voting and pushing him them. If you do find Artem scummy, I want you to summarize your opinion on him. This will help me feel how honest you are being about it.

Your line of thought is
1. Magnus's action is unusual
2. I shall assume Magnus has an alternate motivation for his strange action
3. I shall assume that this motivation is scummy, even though I haven't a clue what this assumed motivation is.

In other words, "I shall call something unusual scummy."

I don't think townies think that way. So I don't think you're town. I think you're just picking something you find unusual and declaring it scummy to try to push a wagon on me. (and yes, I did have an alternate motivation, though not one having to do with a scum alignment, my motivation was to look for someone to do something like this, so I'd have a real suspect)

I see him moving things forward, voting, posting, being pro-town. Its always better to vote for someone for bad reasons than to vote for no one at all.

Thoughts as I'm going through:

I like Artem in the first couple pages of non-sense. Red dye's arguments seem rather contrived once he is forced to explain his reasoning for voting.
red dye wrote:What if there weren't exactly 2 posts that I feel could sum up the case? What if I don't find Artem scummy? I think those 3 pages do the best job of displaying what I wanted to display.
Your mystery entrances me.
magnus wrote: I just don't want to have my vote not on anyone this early yet.
What? Why? Do you think it is anti-town to not have your vote on someone on page 4?

Ok, wtf at le Chat's post in 98. He goes from nothing to comment on to mega post of crap I don't want to read and ultimately says very little.
le Chat wrote:I agree with your opinion that these 3 pages have been... bad(I guess I'll call it?). But I didn't like them because I felt it made it really, really hard for me to attribute opinions/posts to their specific username/avatar.
That's odd considering it was all of three pages and roughly four players. You also don't seem to have any problem keeping it straight in post 98 after several more players have joined the game.

Claus, why are you convinced ABR is town enough to direct your vote?
*two seconds later*

@Magnus
It's absolutely normal for a townie to comment on something odd about someone's behavior. I may not understand your possible motives, but I do know that what you did is not typical town play, so I suspect it to some degree.
Rosso Carne wrote:hrm, so, I'm up for HAMMAH!-ing Red_dye, he's obviously scum.
More writing please. The replacement who showed up just a couple hours ago has said lots more than you.
Why do you think Red Dye is scum? I thought he looked okay on the first few pages. And why aren't you voting him if you think he's scum?

@Claus
I don't see anyone I would prefer to vote over Magnus so far.
If I wasn't voting him, I'd probably be voting for Rosso or Mitey to get them to post.

Speaking of that... MiteyMouse, what are your opinions of the people who were active early? (Beyond their being blabbermouths.)

I agree, it is very normal for a townie to comment on something odd about someone's behavior. Its not so typical for them to assume the motivation behind odd play is scummy. In fact, I believe you commented earlier that you had a town read on red dye, even though you thought red dye's play was strange, is that correct?
So, you hold the opinion that neither mine nor red dye's play was typical, but, you decide that in my case atypical play is scummy, but in Red Dye's case, its merely strange (and gives a slightly townish vibe)? Why this apparent distinction?
