I regret to report that despite the relatively large number of games I've played with Kmd I don't have a finger on his Town meta - he's been scum too often, and I've been away for the summer, so subtlties are slipping my mind.

Gut-wise Pom's defense of her actions in the very early game read Town to me.

Gut-wise Kmd's orchestrated opening post is . . . well, he tries to make a lot of strong statements but too many of them are based on minor things about the RVS which honestly could go either way. The tone of fairly strong conviction is discordant with the amount and quality (or difficulty-to-decipher-accurately) of the evidence he brings. As Alm points out, Kmd's criteria for declaring people Town/not scum are less reliable than he implies in his first long post which ended with the Pom vote.

After the wave of discussion generated by that post Lew says that his RVS votes didn't have reasoning and "I will reason as soon as we have elements." But elements had certainly appeared by then, with long posts and analysis from Alm, Pom, and Kmd. Odd-ish.

Firstly, your interpretations were stated with more conviction than warranted see previously in this post. Second, you ridicule Alm's argument on your point on CoCo because the point he was trying to get at is that seeming logical is not a strong enough Town-tell, which is originally what you made it out to be. Treating something as a towntell simply because it makes sense for a townie to do it is often insufficient -

Sorry I haven't been on since yesterday. I was somewhat surprised to come on and see that Kmd had been lynched.

I've never played with Kmd before so I don't know his playstyle, but he was sure acting scummy. Today when I was in school I was contemplating whether or not to vote for him; I concluded that I should have, but he was lynched before I got home. His cop claim made me flinch, but I still get scummy vibes from him. Shouldn't he have explained why he played the way he did when he claimed? I don't know how he acts as cop, but in general, cop shouldn't be played that way. I found his case on me, especially early game far too aggressive. I think some of his other cases were too (like his one on lewarcher).

I feel somewhat confident with today's lynch. Waiting for Tyfo.

On a side note, while I share your Alm vibes I am not impressed by your nonchalant willingness to jump wagons with the only explanation being that you 'kinda like' them.

Kmd, I've said it once and I'll say it again: lovely if you get reads for scumteams by Page 3, but generall unhelpful to the town at this point. Leave it for a more pertinent time and I'll be all ears.

Plums whole post seems scummy to me, This part reads like scum talkin to each other. I don't have any evidence or anything , just a hunch.

For various reasons I consider scumteam speculation Day 1 to be anti-town, and in certain cases, depending, I may consider it a scumtell. I was telling Kmd to stop doing something I consider anti-town. How were you reading it? Can you pinpoint at all what caused this 'hunch'?

Alm and Kmd's discussion seems to turn up that Kmd was

as certain on reads as I (and Alm) first read them. The question now becomes: Was the implied strength of his reads deliberately exaggerated in an attempt to manipulate and possibly lead the Town or was it Kmd being Kmd? The weird thing here is I don't think I've seen Kmd ever act that certain as Town (well, I'm drawing from what I can recall of Adel's Hydra games, and there may have been stuff from Zazie, his hydra buddy, mixed in, but I seem to recall it being Kmd) . . . he was much more list-y, e.g. This group of players seems townie, this group mostly neutral, this group scummy as opposed to this guy is Town, this guy is Town, this guy is scum &c. And that was with more stuff than RVS to work with as well, IIRC. If I weren' s pressed for time I'd do a more extensive analysis of that right now, as it my wont.

I was going to say Kmd wasn't obsessed with getting Pom lynched, just focusing suspicion on his top suspect, but I am a little shady on the expressed desire to lynch her today - partly because I do not find her notably scummy, and partly because I am almost never sure enough of my reads by page 4 that I am confident enough to say 'All right, my top suspect is the best lynch candidate we're going to find today'. Just not.
