Rules:
1. I am the
Mod
. Deal with it. If you have a problem or a question, PM me or use bold text in this format:
Mod:
Blablabla
2. Be civil to each other. If you feel this rule is being violated, PM me with your complaint and the offending posts.
3. Using or attempting to use loopholes in the rules to fulfill your win condition will not be tolerated.
4. No small or invisible text, making codes, using the structure of the role PM to your advantage, are any other chicanery.
4a. No directly quoting PMs from me or anyone else. No faking PMs. Paraphrasing or information intended for your role may be shared. For example, a Cop may receive and communicate results - "Townie, Not Townie, Innocent, Guilty, etc." When in doubt, ask first. Preferably by PM.
5. No editing or deleting your posts for ANY reason.
6. Roles triumph rules. If there is a conflict between the rules and the role, the role wins.
7. Do not communicate about the game outside of this thread.
8. When you're dead, you stay dead. No "bah" post. Nothing.
9. Modkills automatically mean you lose the game. You automatically become a Neutral Survivor which means that you lose. Period. Modkill = loss.
10. I will be judge, jury, and executioner in deciding all rules infractions.
11.
Red
is my color. Don't use it.
Gameplay
1. All votes and unvotes should be bolded and use this format:
Vote: Whoever
,
Unvote
. Unvotes are not neccessary, but would be appreciated.
2. All public daykills should be bolded and use this format:
Kill: Whoever
3. Any option for the town requires a majority of votes. The majority will be stated in every votecount but will generally be defined as (n/2 + 1) with even numbers and (n/2 + .5) with odd numbers.
4. Players can vote to not take action or null vote. If enough null votes are reached to make any other choice impossible, no action will be taken(aka no lynch).
5.
If a deadline is imposed, whatever action has the most votes at deadline (Lynch XXX, no lynch, etc.) will be taken. In the event of a tie, the first action to have received the number of votes that is tied will be taken. This will not happen in LYLO.
Deadlines and Prods
1. A deadline will be set if I feel the game is not moving along and I generally will not allow a day to last longer than a couple of weeks.
2. Night phases will have usually last 2 days. Weekends and my work schedule might cause this to vary a bit.
3. A prod will go out if the player is inactive for 72 hours or more without notifying the mod of V/LA or other issues.
4. A player can be prodded three times before being replaced at my discretion.
5. If the about-to-be-prodded player makes a post before he is actually prodded, he will dodge that prod.
6. I will prod on request though this may or may not count on their prod count, depending.
You are a resident of Falls Church. No way will you allow some gang bangers from the Left Coast to invade your peaceful, law abiding town!
You have no powers other than your voice, your vote, and your keen sense of justice. Good luck cleaning up your town!

I guess I should have been more specific in the PMs, but standard win conditions apply, i.e. you win with your faction whether alive or dead.
