End of day vote count

xvart (1) [Ectomancer]
Mr.Jester (7) [Raskol, Netapolis, Crypto,foilist13, kiruchiyo, JereIC, xvart]

Not voting: (4) [Walrus Helmet, Mr. Jester, Malpascp,Gyro ]

The 12 people left gathered around. They were unsure of themselves. Unsure if this was the right thing to do. However Mr. jester was behaving odd. He seemed to be sweating, like he was nervous.

Surely he has something to hide? Surely? So they grabbed him and dragged him to their home made 'Hanging Station'

'Any last words?' they asked.

*crickets*

And it turned out he didn't have any last words. So they wrapped a rope around his neck and hung him untill he was dead.

Mr.Jester -
Town Jailkeeper
was lynched day 1.

It is now Night 1. Night will last for 72 hours. All Actions must must be in by then or will not be used

Night 1

The residents of Belgrove woke up early. Sleepy eyed and tired they crawled from their beds, grumbling and complaining. Another day's lynching was about to begin and after yesterdays case of mistake idendity they knew they would need to do better today.

They came to the centre of Belgrove and met up.

'Where's Gyro?' crypto asked.

As he was asking it they saw Gyro come out of his house, half dressed, and looking like some sort of hobo.

'What the fuck?' Netapolis asked slightly confused.

Gyro blushed. 'I found some vodka and had a..good night' he said bashfully.

'Hey maybe that's what Ecto did too' xvart said.

They went to Ecto's house to check if he was drunk but when they arrived they found his front door open.

They walked in and on the kitchen floor was Ectomancer lying face down a bullet hole in his head. He was quite dead

Ectomancer-
Vanilla Townie
was killed night 1.

The town had lost another of their own.

Day 2 began, and they decided they'd try to lynch again.

With 10 alive it takes a majority of 6 to lynch.
Deadline for Day 2 is November 25th @ 20:00 GMT

I don't follow the logic for that night kill. Saved me from squandering time pursuing the Ecto-scum theory.

Vote: JereIC.

Savagely administered
RKOS: Netopalis
. Lesser but still substantial
FOS: Xvart
.

Is that just flavor text or did Gyro get a handicap (other than alcoholism)?

Ought I to be offended?

why would you vote someone who's MIA, crypto? I have reason to believe the guy hasn't been on in a while. Then again I wouldn't know if he's posting in other games since I only check this thread specifically.

iirc you were the first to vote Ectomancer. Although surely that may or may not be a factor in last nights recent death, surely.

Gyro: I've found that, generally, asking why the mafia killed someone is WIFOMy. It could have been that they felt that Ecto was a threat, it could have been that they thought he wouldn't be protected by a potential doc, it could have been that they were tired of having so many players whose name or shortened name ends with the letter "o"....who knows. Speculation on the point doesn't get us very far, though.

I'm still not a fan of Malpa. I'd really, really like to see some decent content from him today.

Crypto: Why are you FOSing Xvart? Anything in particular?

No, it was a roundhouse kick.

I was voting for him because he put Mr.Jester at L-1 despite zero previous commentary about him.

Did you just claim scum and out your teammate?

Hello, I'm saying that my suspicion of Ecto was misplaced, and that the upside to his death is that I won't be wasting time pursuing that misplaced suspicion today.

I was voting for him because he put Mr.Jester at L-1 despite zero previous commentary about him.
Reason for my previous comments were that the Mr. Jester vote was somewhat opportunistic considering Mr. Jester wasn't active. Although I'll come out and say that I did also say he was scummy yet I withheld my vote for him because I wasn't completely sure it was the right thing to do, then to come back and see the thread locked for the night phase.

My general point is that this vote seems just as opportunistic since the guy hasn't been around in a while. It was an observation. But reason for the vote was noted.
Did you just claim scum and out your teammate?
Hasn't been posting ; how I drew this conclusion.
Hello, I'm saying that my suspicion of Ecto was misplaced, and that the upside to his death is that I won't be wasting time pursuing that misplaced suspicion today.
...okay. Hopefully there wont be more misplaced suspicions today.

I'm still confused. Did you mean my vote for JereIC was opportunistic, or JereIC's vote for Mr.Jester was opportunistic?

first choice was the implication yes. But seeing that he has come around recently then you can toss that idea out the window.

No, not at all. I wouldn't be stupid enough to make that type of giveaway post had I actually had any knowledge.

Just the fact that I haven't seen that guy post in forever, I drew the conclusion that perhaps he didn't even send in a role/confirmed not GF etc..

But then I saw the post on the past page and that's where I raged. : /

Would you mind posting what reasons you had? You said earlier that you only check this thread, so what? Do you know him personally, or is he your scum buddy, or are you some other role that would allow you to communicate with him?

I accept this FoS and I won't try and explain it anymore. I earned that suspicion and I should have double checked the vote count.

This is my second game on this site but I have played a handful of games on another gaming site. Those are considerably different than here and have always had a time limit of two day day phases and one day night phases. The games are not nearly as balanced as the mod usually just creates a setup that they think is fair and has good flavor. For example, we played a game setup once with the Saw movie flavor and the town won and never once lynched a mafia member.

Why didn't you vote for crypto at this point?
I didn't vote for crypto at this point because I just wanted to point out that his behavior was increasingly becoming scummy in my eyes. A way of marking the behavior to come back to later on if it continues. I also don't haphazardly throw votes around just because someone posts something scummy. When I vote for someone, I mean it.

You sure about that? You seem to misspeak a lot, from my observation. Are you cracking under the pressure?

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Vote: Gyro
