I simply don't want to No Lynch just for the satisfaction and moral victory of actually snagging a scum. If we don't get a scum this round, we deserve to lose. I can't imagine us actually being in a better place tomorrow, just one townie closer to death. You guys really think that a townie death will give us any more information about who actually is scum? Just the simple fact that everyone is resigning to we need to increase our odds because tomorrow we are going to be blindly guessing again? Absolutely absurd. That said, because I support a no lynch, I agree that you shouldn't say whether or not you're the cop. I think it might be best for everyone, including you, to give hypo-results, just in case we do have an investigative role and they are killed tonight.

Since we can't know what roles we have, I think people should give hypo-results for tracker and watcher as well.

Seriously. Hypo-cop is distinctly anti-town and there's no reason for it to benefit mafia. Our odds of roundhouse-kicking scum into oblivion RIGHT NOW are VERY GOOD if we've got a cop and three innocents.

In reality, it just confuses the town. It's a blatantly obstructive caper pulled by Raskol.

That's all well and good if he's actually the cop. but if he isn't, then your hijinx have just let the mafia know that you're not the cop, and if you pressure him into saying whether he's the cop or not, they'll know he's not the cop too. Then, eliminating you two, mafia will have a 33% chance of hitting the cop tonight. So yeah, good job.

Of course, right now we don't know whether he's the cop or not, and I think it would be better to keep it that way. Xvart should hypo-cop along with everyone else (who I would really ask to give results that don't scream I'M NOT THE COP if you're town and want to win and aren't an idiot). After that we should no lynch.

If he's killed and he's the cop then his results are confirmed and we haven't lost much of anything: we'll be in LyLo with two confirmed townies (assuming he has two innocents, which seems likely since he hasn't behaved like a cop with a guilty) and we won't have to question whether xbvart is telling the truth.

If he isn't killed and he's the cop then he may be able to give us a guilty. 100% is a lot better than 60%, wouldn't you say?

Of course, there's always the chance that there is no cop. In that case, hypo-cop and no lynch are still the best play.
