Let's get this straight. You vote someone for being scummy, and people call you on it. After they call you on it, you proceed to unvote, despite the fact that you still think he's scum? I remember I did the exact same thing as scum in my very first game as mafia, and it doesn't work.DocPotter wrote:Seriously, most of the 'heat' I seem to attract lately is due to me overreacting.LlamaFluff wrote:

Unvote
I still have a scummy feel from the skyedoc wagon and I honestly thought it was sky himself.
Just have to take a third look.

Vote: Nul. That was one bad vote. Kyle's wasn't good either, but at least he explained himself and didn't just say 'yeah im voting him cuz all the cool kids are'.Show"You're a silly Pom. Silly silly girl." -Fate

well all the reasons for voting docpotter was already stated
am i suppose to say
vote: docpotter
because he votes and then unvotes despite still believing the person he voted is a scum?

No Kyle I didn't. Try reading it again. I said I found something scummy about the wagon, and thought it was Skye. I still think it's a scummy wagon and am not sure if it's the wagoners or the target since Llama made some good points concerning it. Do I need to point out that Llama voted Skye as well at one stage?
There is a slight difference to what I said and what you claimed I said Kyle.

1) Never assume that your just going to be wasting people's time by giving reasoning for your votes. Ever.Nul wrote:well all the reasons for voting docpotter was already stated

I really don't want to waste people's time by saying the same thing but in different words.
2) Saying that the reasons for voting someone have already been said by other people is lazy and shows a lack of an actual effort to scumhunt. At least attempt to scumhunt instead of just playing off other people's ideas.
3) Using accurate spelling and grammar will make people take you way more seriously.-

What point are you trying to make here? Im just reading 'deflection deflection appeal to athority deflection'Do I need to point out that Llama voted Skye as well at one stage?

The objective of this game is finding out who the scum is (or at least the most suspicious person), and voting him out by convincing the other townies.kyle99 wrote:

I don't see what's wrong with saying: "Yes, X has a point. Let's lynch Y."
Do I really need to evaluate on the reasoning of my votes when X has already given them?
"Yes, X has a point, let me repeat everything that X had stated but in different words just so I may appear less lazy than I actually am."
I don't care if people think I'm lazy, I just want to lynch the scum.-

Really Llama. I'm just trying to be completely honest.
My point? Well if you found reason to vote Skye, is it unreasonable to assume that I did.
I'm going to place, or remove, my vote on whomever I think is the best target at the time and if something happens to make me change my mind then change it I will. Even if it's the next post, even if it's a ninja post.
All I can do is place it where I think best and be honest about the reason why.Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati-

Nul's coming off as a newb more than anything to me. Not that that means he isn't newbscum, just that his actions are more newbie mistakes than anything. He is coming off as rather scummy, especially the recent DocPotter wagon vote, I will admit.sykedoc wrote:

Both Kyle only posted again once they were called out for lurking, and both posted pretty close together as well with a vote for the same person... my scumdar beeped at both of these things. But then again I know how kyle plays regardless of his alignment so this isn't too surprising of a response from him <_<
Then why didn't you FoS me, since I was the one calling out syke for overreacting first? (yeah you probably missed my post but still <_<)LlamaFluff wrote:- Overreacting to 5 votes. Really?FoS Anon

Why is the vote bad? This is also a little indecisive. You say he is newb, maybe newbscum, but newb, but his last post was scummy. What is it if you had to guess here? Is he scum or town?Parama wrote:

Yes you are. Some people find it scummy to vote without a good reason unless your in the RVS.Nul wrote:vote: docpotter

@Parama:
Depending on what the mod does with SSK breaking his PR, SSK. Doc isn't looking that good. Being a general nuisance (spelling?). However, I wouldn't say voting for someone because everyone else is is really scummy, so Nul is neutral to me ATM.
