That's what I was alluding to when I told Cobalt about deja vu. While I agree that the prior probability of having daykilling scum or daykilling SK is low, the prior probability of having daykilling town do what Alma just did may be somewhat lower.

Seacore was voting F1f1, so uh, no he's not at L-1.

I'm also for lynching Almaster straight up instead of having him burn, just because we'll likely have another dead townie on his hands tomorrow.

"Oh Fate you just want to kill him because he said you're next!"

Ok then I'll burn CP if we lynch him. Fair?

It used to be 7 to lynch. Now it's 6 to lynch. That accounts for it still being L-1 IIRC. At any rate, he's equally as close to lynch as before.

I think Alma is a good burn candidate because he's a potential town PR.

Just you today, I think. More burners might make it hard on the Commander if s/he's a bad counter.

Let other people agree or disagree with your status as burner before you start burning, please.

So we are spending our ONLY D1 burn to verify that I am not in fact daykilling scum, despite that the odds of this actually being true are microscopic.

And then I will die, because the mafia know I am not going to flip scum, and will thus kill me just like they would kill a townie confirmed by a cop.

This makes soooooo little sense. Minimally, we should have someone else burning too so the mafia don't just get a gimme on taking out a town PR.

Bad plan is bad. Almaster shouldn't be the one to burn.

Better plan:

1. Almaster consents to hand over all future killing decisions to town democracy. Deviance is instantly lynched.
2. Two other players burn. (two is doable).
3. By tomorrow Almaster is probably already shot. If he isn't, we force him to shoot whoever we want him to shoot. Even if he's an SK, scum will be forced to kill him because he's giving us a second lynch. If he is a scum daykiller, we force 1 or 2 shots and then lynch him when he clearly should have died by then.
Mod: Is commander status revealed on death?

Yes.

Almaster do you consent to give up your shots to democracy?

You just shot one of the most helpful players in the game, even though you are voting for a different player in a game where it is costly to vote for players. Your behavior is utterly bizarre and does not match town dayvig behavior. You've also never even attempted to justify your suspicion for Seacore, even in retrospect!

I might keep you around were I scum, if I thought you would carry out a charming repeat performance D2.

If you think someone else is a better burn candidate, you should indicate them. Whining about being seen as scummy, especially after having done something quite scummy, is unbecoming.

And didn't I also say that the sloppiness was a side-effect necessary to get at a greater gain? In the same way, doing two burns is a little sloppier, but probably manageable and gives us an increased amount of investigation.

Cross a certain sloppiness threshold, and you no longer get any benefit from the burn at all. :(

2 is possible, but is flirting with danger.

9 townies+3 points from commanders == 30 points.

-9 votes=21
-1 lynch=20
-6 power roles=14
a 6 and 6 double burn should work.

You make me want to revert back to my plan sometimes though..

Allright, one burn. Burn 8?

And still, can't be almaster.

And we should still each vote once. I can't find a recent votecount, someone less lazy than me arrange for designated voters.

If it's 1 burn, yeah, I guess 8-9 would be fine. It was 12 before, but now we have 3 fewer CP. I think. Actually, come to think of it, if CP is alotted at the start of each day phase, we may still get to use Seacore's CP. :D

Two burns is possible. It's just pushing it. Other players should probably weigh-in, too.

Do you think Alma is obvtown for having a daykill? How will you respond if he's still alive tomorrow and there's no burn evidence on him?

Who do you want to burn instead?

No, he's not obvtown at all. But if he's alive tomorrow, we can force him to kill who we want him to kill lest he be instantly lynched for failure. The most likely scenario is that the scums outright shoot him. If he's really town power, he probably represents most of the power roles our entire team has and the scum are going to shoot him. It's pointless for us to kill the scum's targets for them.

I want McGriddle to burn instead. He's lurkish and the mehful response to Almaster's death didn't sit well.

Meh, I don't like leaving a trigger happy vig alive, because if he "lives for too long" (either because scum let him live for WIFOM or he is scum) then it gets to the point where we say:

"Ok, lynch him now!" and then he goes.

"BWHAHAH YOURE GOING DOWN WITH ME!" and we end up at lylo the next day or something.

I have a meta on Mcgriddle, he's useless. He's a better lynch candidate tomorrow (barring no CP evidence) than he is to burn. One of the inactive should burn though, because I can't get a read on them otherwise.

Such as fqgghaweghqdas, Cruciare, or bv130

Useless is just as hard to get a read on as the inactives. Why do you prefer the players you listed to the useless one?

Also I think we should get off the f1f1 wagon. I think scum would be a lot more careful with their vote than just to waste it like that, and the wagon smells of "ok so town are scared to waste their votes so mislynches will be easy."

Yes I know I'm one of the votes on him, in retrospect maybe not the best idea.
