I would prefer it if you modded a game and fulfilled those requirements before claiming multiple games.
Or are at least going to be modding soon.

If you're nowhere near getting to mod on another list and another mod wants to run a claimed theme, I will let them.

Yes, this was for spork.

There's no need to get snotty.
It was obvious that my post was written without checking any of the other lists.
I don't need to. You provide links to previous modding experience.

Sassing me, won't earn you any extra points, experience or no experience.
Quite the opposite really.

Just out of curiosity -- do you block mods for any reason other than inexperience? I mean, if they "sass" you can you prevent them from running a game?

Phoebus I don't need your "points" to mod a game FD wasn't a big spork fan but I still got to co-mod. MeMe's right.

Alrighty, I finally got someone (Quagmire) to review my setup for me, and I bribed Mathcam to be my co-mod. What else needs to be done before I can start signups?

I believe that mith's policy has always been that if you know you meet the requirements to mod the game you can go right ahead and start signups.

I haven't done so yet. I don't want to find out if I need to do it in the future.
It's not about me or my ego but it's not too much to expect a little decency, is it? I don't even claim respect.

As far as FD's being a spork fan or not, whether or not you get to be co-mod depends on the mod who wrote the game, and not any list mod.

According to the front post:
Flying Dutchman wrote: If you want to start sign-ups make a post in this thread, and include at least the following information:
  • Your game name.

  • The flavour text.
    - Add as much flavour text as you want. It will be included in the signups
  • The number of players.

  • Your experience, if you haven't modded a large game before.
    - Please provide links to relevant threads so that the current List Mod can check to see if you're qualified to begin sign-ups. It will make his/her life much more easier.

I just felt like mentioning that I find it disconcerting when posts disappear out of this thread and I wish that mods would be encouraged to start their own sign up threads ;)

Do I absolutely have to run a mini game before I can run a theme game?

There is no "theme" plot-wise but rather a slightly different mechanic.
You can PM me to ask why, but you of course would not be allowed in the game if you did that.

I'd like someone to help me out here.

Unless you have successfully run a game elsewhere, yes.
If the roles are mostly vanilla, you can prolly sign up on the New York list.
Ask if Cadmium wants to peruse the setup.
You can send it to me as well, if you like.

Sure, send it over, ChocoCid.

Though the games in New York must be pretty normal to qualify from now on. Plus there's a waiting list.

I'd like to mod a game based on a popular manga called Fruits Basket.

Fruits Basket Mafia

Flavor text

Not all is weel at the Sohma house. Friends of the Sohma family are turning up dead. Nobody knows who is responsible, but they intend to figure it out. Akito invites 29 people to his home so that they can work out between themselves who murdered their friends and family. But among the thirty, the culprits are lurking, their job having been made much simpler...

Thirty players

Experience

Mini 191: Greek Myth I - The Gaian Alliance

I would like to check if Sesame Street mafia is either done or reserved. If not, I would like to claim the idea (don't worry, I will use it, right after Kirby Mafia).

it's no problem dude, it's all good. I'll wait and see how the duel concept works out for your mini first anyway

over at FBg I would run the same ruleset here....it was big hit there.

the original game....any number of players is fine.
bump...go ahead and add me to the list, I think I'll run this one here....

If someone wants to review the basic ruleset, its in that link, although a few modifications may be in order to encourage dueling...

PBug, find and appoint a co-mod please.
Your access was spotty during greek mini.

BJ, please modify your setup as you please and get a reviewer look at it. Maybe they can suggest changes for the duelling mechanic and volunteer as backup mod.
