I'm not convinced what Hoopla did in posting our QT is kosher. I mean, we could ask all the hydras to post all their communication over the past few days, and if any of them were scum they wouldn't be able to fake a QT with timestamps all saying towny things.

I don't know, it just seems like if I was scum in a hydra, it would be an unreasonable task to create and run a fake QT just in case the town ever demands a 'post town conversation between you or die'.

Anyway, it's done now, I think perhasp the mod could bandaid the rules for this reason? Up to you.

Quick games =/= lynch at random.

I have a solid town read on Spyrex, Hoopla not so much. Calls for vigs are uncool, stop it. Dramonic wagon is decent though.

You're asking the mod to edit the rules midgame in order to prevent the occurrence of town demanding hydra QTs? Am I getting that right?

We're not lynching at random mate, and calling for vigs is awesome. :P
Neither DGB or I liked the screenshot of the Hydra QT. Whatevs, Hayle can handle it how she will.

Yes, you are getting that right.

It's an unfair burden to scum hydras to ask that they maintain a fake QT over time with 'town' thoguhts to each other in case the town demands at any time that they screen shot it or die.

The first Nikanor wagon was absolutely at random. It was basedo n absolutely nothing. It happened to hit scum - and therefore got me and Hoopla into a lot of trouble - but it was at random.

The second one was better, and I did say that in one of my posts, the claiming argument was good.

But today's PUSH PUSH NO TIME CLAIM OR DIE NEXT TARGET style attacks seem to me to be near-random.

For atl east 2 reasons I can think of, calling for vigs is bad.

And before I forget, Hoops my dear, I think that the CSL shot could well be an opposing scumgroup genuinely thinking CSL was scum. So it's not impossible that there's 2 scum groups.

Possibilities would be lone mafia faction, one of multiple mafia factions, vig, SK. Are there any points against any but the first?

*posting in the Hoopla account so I can defend my position*

Perhaps this is something for mods to consider when they allow hydras into their games, as I don't think showing your thought process for that player slot is explicitely wrong - just in the same way showing a file of notes external to the game you've been keeping is wrong if you're a normal player. It's something scum hydras may not think about to cover and run with for the game, but in Adel's two hydra games, it was actually scum who benefitted more than town, fooling town with effective imitations.

I did it without really thinking of the consequences or ethical implications it carried with it, I think mostly because we were at L-1 and I was panicking to find a way to prove myself as town. I'm sorry if some deem this as cheating - I probably shouldn't have tried to exploit that loophole to clear (or false clear) ourselves as town.

Ohhh hay game.

Nothing like coming home after the longest day of meetings to see:

1.) Clergy being power-town
2.) Pulindur being power-town
3.) Dramonic twirling a mustache with "HAY LOOK I AM EVIL"

And... now I'm somehow scum if Clergy is scum AND if Dramonic is scum?

Awesome, folks.

Seriously, something like 12 pages in a day is not awesome. Especially this mad clamoring like deadline is looming - when, realistically, its not.

And I'm either scum for mystic voodoo OR "He's town, but could be scum playing me" from... everyone except for Clergy (who I am scum with).

Lets shake the dillo:

TOWN:
Drip
Clergy
Parlindur
Parama
Camn

PROBABLY TOWN:
Anon
Yos*

* If Ythan is scum then I could easily see this whole spat being smoke and mirrors - my individual read is town but that whole exchange is bizzare to say the least.

SCUM ARE HERE:
Dramonic

WHICH LEAVES:
Nacho
McZ
Mae
KMD
Weaboo
Ythan

Of that last set I'm the most irritated.

McZ needs replacing. Nacho is skating. Mae is white noise. Ythan is the god of white noise and its beyond ridiculous at this point. Weaboo is posting more about the white noise than anything else and KMD is stuck in perpetual catchup.

I'd kill this whole damn list and I'd bet on shaking 2 scum out of it. Probably Weaboo and Nacho although I'm really starting to think that Ythan might be up to some truly beautiful (and coached cough *yos* cough) white noise.

But, see, its not all bad. That list, that first one I posted? The list of "THESE PEOPLE ARE TOWN".

Yea. Those people are town. Stop slapfighting and, ya know, lynch dramonic.

I'm not having a go at you, I get what you were doing and you certainly didn't break any rules by volunteering it here, I'm just thinking that much like a role pm, if you're allowed to post it, soon people will demand it. And while it's one thing to make a conscious decision as scum to try to fake a qt, I don't think it's reasonable to force every scum hydra ever to intricately fake a qt lest they be asked to screenshot it.
I'm old now.

Why do you think I haven't tried to mount an offensive on DGB yet?

unvote, vote Dramonic

Still catching up with the thread but with the revelation of clergy-town this is where my vote's going (no it's not just bandwagoning, if you read my posts you'll see why)

Woah, hang on. I don't like the idea of lynching a gunsmith, if only for the fact he's good NK bait for the scum (if he's truthful), which gives good protection to some of our obv-townies. I don't think scum can risk leaving him alive for that. Dramonic, are you saying that you investigated DGB for no-gun?

Can we lynch Yosarian now? :)
