You, dear sir, are about to not be a fan of Ythan in any way shape or form imaginable. I'm almost tempted to just vote Ythan, because he's always suspicious looking in my eyes, but at the moment I think i shall...Copper wrote:Vote:Ythan because he seems to be a fan of spamming up the thread and I am a fan of that not happening.
After doing so, I implore you -Ythan 27 wrote:You should check my other games.
It's a matter of degree. Let's assume we're talking about a vanilla townie. If you don't post much, with not much in, then the town may very well waste a mislynch on you, but that will be it. Now, if you post a lot with not much in, it drags everyone down. People look at their watched topics, see four new pages, and lose motivation. People besides the spammer post less. It becomes harder to find the real content buried in the noise.Inquisitor JL 43 wrote:posting > lack of posting
Surely it is better for him to post loads of posts with not much in instead of a few posts with not much in. Even if what is added in each post is limited, surely it's better for our chances of finding the mafia if more is posted than less. Or am I missing something here?

You're certainly welcome to voice speculation, though we'll never answer whether you're right or wrong (except for extreme values of wrong) and we won't answer questions that are just trying to narrow down our identity.Rayfrost wrote:Copper, would you be bothered if I tried to figure out who the heads of you are?
Ah, Ythan, either a very clever and sarcastic wit - or a wonderful punching bag of obtuseness. Take your pick.Ythan wrote:I'm torn between agreeing and wanting to say so and not wanting to make another post.
Would you care to indulge us and just expand on this idea a little bit? It seems as if you have more that you can add here, and I'm curious as to what it is.Thor665 wrote:She is totally scum and I have it on good authority she always cracks under pressure depending on her current meta of choice.
Are you being delibrately obtuse, Ythan? Perhaps you just log in too much? I don't think CheshireCat or Thor will throw a fit if you don't specifically respond to each of their posts within the hour, and I know we certainly won't. I think you understand what everyone is telling you, but you are being kind of stubborn about it. If you want to defend your post oversaturation, that's fine, but be upfront about it. This idea that, "I want to make a post where I agree with you... but I guess I have to post again!!Ythan wrote:I'm torn between agreeing and wanting to say so and not wanting to make another post.
Primarily the idea is simply a joke and references the last game I was in with SFG. She used to have a list of her major meta points in her sig line, one of which was that she 'always cracks under pressure'. During the game we played she declared a change in her meta, including this point, and changed her sig while declaring we could pressure her but she wouldn't crack. Then later she cracked under pressure anyway.Copper wrote:Would you care to indulge us and just expand on this idea a little bit? What makes you feel Ythan is not being upfront about his attitude on his posting habits?Cooper wrote:If you want to defend your post oversaturation, that's fine, but be upfront about it.
Personally I've got money on SFG/Ythan being the most interesting personality clash of the game.TheCheshireCat wrote:Lol this is gonna be a long game
