Well I agree with Elli that Starbuck is town on account of McZombie's Day 1 actions. I think a lot of her points are lurking artifacts.

I'm a lot less certain of Maemuki. I could vote Maemuki. But then if Maemuki has a believable claim, we're lynching SpyreX.

DGB, you and Elli agree that Starbuck is likely town, but you ranked Starbuck at 98. Can you explain why she is town with such a high ranking?

I've already answered that.

McZombie did it. By voting for Nikanorscum while making a statement indicating that McZombie thought we were still in RVS, McZombie is town. If McZombie was scum, McZombie would have been bus'ing, and would have done so in a way to earn town cred. Saying we were in RVS nullifies any town cred a scumbag would have earned by bus'ing.

The only caveat is if McZombie hasn't bothered informing him/herself of whom his/her buddies were.

As to why Starbuck is getting a lot of scum points with the scoring system, it's because of lack of voting and general lurkiness.

Starbuck *could* be scum, definitely a possibility.

KMD is lurking on point with me, and Spyrex isn't much better. I think that it's a really good idea to note that KMD is protesting the dramonic lynch, and he's also has a town read on someone who isn't really posting a whole lot of content.

Typical attack on a townie player while not trying to forget about his scumpartner, variation of "Vote:town, FoS:scumpartner" maneuver. Yes, this means kmd town, spyrex scum.

Spyrex is not as scummy as KMD, but he's still pretty scummy.

All of the rest of his reads are less reliable but Id say that drip, kmd, mae and pulindar are town just for the security of the reads (massive buddying) and there is a big question mark in spyrex's, zombie's, weaboo's and yosa2's heads, just for the fencesitting of the read.

WoW, on the early Nikanor scumtells. I've never seen him be so blatant.

On Maemuki

The reason why I called CSL and Nik scum so early it's because I've experienced first-hand CSL-scum-bussing, and it seemed very similiar, if you're wondering.

With the fact that CSL flipped town, I'd say that your read is off.


It seems as Mae was blatantly trying to cast suspicion and discredit CSL.

I've only been scum with him once - and it was a long time ago - but from what I've seen, he does one of the following:

a. Busses one of his scumbuddies;
b. Shuts up and repeats "you just lynched a townie" over and over again.

Eeeh, not much. But it's better than nothing.

I'm not a fan of Drippereth's absolutes in Post 98 just because certain people said Nik was town or that he was scum, such as...

Nikanor is town. This wagon should be ashamed of itself.

If Nikanor flips town, ACWAH is scum.

And this one especially when ACWAH flipped as a Neutral Survivor.

Who cares if he's at L-2. He apparently looks most suspicious to a number of people. If he does get hammered this early it's not going to look good for whoever does it. It's not like we're giving scum an opportunity to sneakily knock off a townie without anyone noticing.

While Nik's posts are the most suspicious to me at this point I think it's a bit early to call his flip.

Parama's tunneling of a policy lynch on CSL is a HUGE DISTRACTION during most of Day 1. If you really are town, why would you do this?

Meh, if Nik flips scum I'll gladly take the next lynch. I mean, scum do often buddy up with townies to set up mislynches, and I'm one of those townies, but I can't fault you for using WIFOMish logic. Oh wait.

(1) If you're town, that's absurb; you wouldn't give up and defend yourself.
(2) If you're scum, that's WIFOM-planting if Nik is your buddy, and not really something you'd say if he were town and you knew it.

You're the one introducting WIFOM to the argument. And besides, do you know who brings up WIFOM everytime they're painted into a corner? Scumz. That's who.

Why did you keep trying to detract from the Nik lynch? For example...

During Sign-ups, me and KMD came to an agreement that we wouldn't kill each other NIGHT ONE, if either of us ended up scum.
I tell you this so you know, if I die tonight.. KMD is NOT auto-scum. We have a truce, of sorts. In case any of you follow history.

On Yosarian2

Yosarian's case on CSL seems forced in Post 229. It's like he does some distancing from Parama at first and then hops right into going after CSL. Like he's trying to help Parama.

He also seems to tunnel on CSL for most of Day 1.
