Mini 44, Trouble In the Toybox

By PolarBoy

Welcome to the playroom of Little Billy and Jenny. Things used to be very nice here, with laughter filling endless hours. But something strange happened today. Raggedy Ann was found dead, her stuffing flung to every corner of the room, her outsides torn to shreds. Jenny mom said that she must have been left to close to the fan. BUt the toys know better. Raggedy Ann would never stray so close to something so loud, much less dangerous. This death was no accident. And if anyone was capable of doing this once, they were capable of doing it again. There seems to be only one sensible thing to do then; Starting tommorow the toys will throw a suspicious toy down the heating vent every day until the killings stop.

Rules:
Standard Mafia rules apply, that is:
-Votes will be cast in the format of
Vote: Whomever
or they will be ignored.
-Unvotes may be in the format of
Unvote: Whomever
or simply
Unvote
. Other forms will be ignored.
-Lynch is decided by a simple majority of votes, deadlines rules will be at the discretion of the mod.
-If your name is on the dead list, you may not talk.
-You may not discuss this game with anyone outside of this thread unless given explicit permission by the mod.
-You may not copy anything that you recieve privately from the mod.
-If your role has a night action and you do not target it before the end of the night, it will be assumed that you did not wish to use your night action.
-If you expect to be unable to access the game for a consecutive period of 48 hours or more, please say so in the thread.
-Remember, this game is a commitment to 12 other people.
-As mod, anything I say, goes.

The night ws spent fitfully for most of the toys, each wondering who would be next. As they all gathered for the town meeting, someone noticed that KingPin was not among them. When you reach KingPin's spot, you find him lying on the ground with a suction-dart stuck to his forehead. It appears the Kingpin died fighting. After a brief search, you also find his legs.

KingPin, G.I. Joe(Vigilante) is dead.

Day one has begun.

Wow, I even missed the non-random random voting, even when it's on me!

Well, last night like totally sucked...too bad about our (probably) only vig. I guess we could conjecture as to what roles might be in the game. Mr. Potato head? Barbie? Slinky? etch-a-sketch? Other veterans from Toy Story?

Actually, I can prove I'm not evil. Over the last 10 games I've played in, I've meticulously and pain-stakingly spent hours setting up a system whereby I can prove my innocence to you. Just go look at my old games and check. I think you'll find tha...ah, crap!

 I just now figured it out myself! That goodness for late-night mind exercises.

So, is it role claim time for mathcam? I'm a little rusty, not sure if that's what should happen next.

Bandwagon starved, more like. Careful -- two quick votes will lynch him and, even if he's scum, we'll have very little information for day two. Let's just chat a while, shall we? After all, we're still waiting for two of our playmates (Fishbulb & Totem) to speak up.

Well, you know what they say about fourth on a bandwagon: guilty as scum. Of course, this is a relatively stupid heuristic as far as heuristics go, but still, it's far too easy for mafia to attempt to conceal themselves in a random bandwagon. I'll cast my vote on the all-too-eager mikehart:

Vote: Mikehart

I think I get what you said but that is a pretty quick saying of I'm not scum. But I'm going with MeMe and waiting a little while and chat.

Since mathcam doesn't seem to eager in dispelling the bandwagon with a claim, I'll go with his defense.
vote: mikehart
for over-eagerness to push a bandwagon pretty close to the edge.

A quick saying of "I'm not scum?" I assumed it was implicit from the beginning that I and everyone else would be claiming that they weren't scum. I don't see what saying it out loud has to do with anything. If you are not claiming to not be scum, mlaker, I'd like to hear it. Overly defensive is one think, but a proclamation of innocence when a bandwagon is on you? Hardly suspicious. I don't see how this has gone from random badnwagonning to "looking in my direction." Did I do anything to draw these suspicions except be the "random" target and make a joke?
