I don't agree with any Anon suspicion out there. It looks more like he's defending his own opinion on a tell rather than defending Richard. I disagree with his opinion, but that does not make him scummy.
And there's only been one flip-flop from bv right? He first said Richard looked like newbie town, then after a re-read he said leaning scum. I don't recall him going back to town after that?
Um, what's the difference between how Richard responded and how Seraphim responded? Just because Seraphim was already voting you does not mean he would have held his vote in post 132. It looks like both players gave you the same amount of pressure while asking you to explain yourself.RichardGHP wrote:Faraday in Post 128 comes off as scum pushing for a mislynch, as the only reason he stated for voting me was the fact that I apparantly wanted to be lynched. Everyone asking to be lynched should be lynched is horrible logic too.
Finally, Seraphim in Post 132 gives me a strong pro-town read, since scum would be more likely to use the fact that I wanted to be lynched as an excuse for a quickwagon. The fact that Seraphim takes the time to question my view tells me that he's town.-

Bv...I'm not sure. I mean, the flip flopping is definitely scummy, but then he only really voted after pressure all around from people thought his noncommitement was scummy and those on the Richard wagon, a little bit.
Richard's last post reeks of desperation and kinda looks like an attempt to look town, but I think his vote for farside after him saying that he thinks a town farside would post like that is a bit weird.
I'll read over the thread again after I finish up this homework I have, but for now:
Unvote: Pomegranate, Vote: RichardGHP-

Ah so you read my meta of you and decided to act as such now?Anon wrote:You commented previously that I was acting different from our previous game together. Do you still maintain that comment?
I never said aggression:Anon wrote: Im talking about scum faking aggressiveness towards a player to get reactions/answers. I never talked about the RVS.
I need to work on what I mean with this. Call it taunting of a player, playing with their mind a bit. I also used the words pushing someone's button prior to this.far wrote:I'm stating that town tends to push for reaction

Seraphim/Farside, the flip-flopping, ok. But the vote under pressure being a scumtell? Why do I get the feeling that if there wasn't a vote that he'd be backing off the wagon and again, be accused of flip-flopping, another scumtell. This latest accusation seems like a catch-22.
Espeonage jumping on the popular wagon strikes me as opportunistic.
Richard seems to have gone from whiny, to angry, to angry with a bit of a plan, to a gambiting master... At least in his own mind.-

Espeonage, you're the 4th on BV I believe.
Richard:
You get voted, over-react
You get voted again, over-react again.
You get voted yet again, you get angry, go into hiding
You get called out for hiding, you come out and claim it was a gambit
I didn't attack the fact that you provided content, but what the content was.
And no, you're still not scumhunting.-

Not scumhunting? How about you read Post 309 where I call a scum read on Faraday.
With that,Unvote; Vote Faraday.

Stop using meta as an excuse!!! Its ridiculous!!! Not only that if you know3 your meta, you can pretty much fake it. Also how many games have you played??? Not enough in anycase to have any reasonable meta. I smell bullshit. Dont use meta as a defence.RichardGHP wrote:Not scumhunting? How about you read Post 309 where I call a scum read on Faraday.

Also votes are on you for giving scum-like reactions. Wait, what was that? We are voting you based on... reactions??!?! Isn't that what you were doing... so yeah you FAIL there! Also your gambit failed to pay off, you didnt release that data nearly soon enough and even when you did it wasn't nearly thorough enough and looked like it had been cobbled together off the drop of a hat.
The fact is every step of the way you have over-reacted to every single thing. Not only that but when you came up with an excuse for your over-reactions you failed to make a proper conclusion.Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.-

Richard's vote on Faraday is a start in the right direction, but he still doesn't look like scumhunting townie.
What do you want it to be? Do you not have suspicions on people yet?ABR wrote:Mafia ain't what it used to be.
I don't think this is an accurate description, besides the question on why Richard left his vote on farside when he revealed his reactions.NickF227 wrote:I think his vote for farside after him saying that he thinks a town farside would post like that is a bit weird.-

Not sure how much mafia you have played but I know scum who play it more safe and talk about people they are suspicious of but don't vote. Then when asked they place a vote on said person.Sando wrote:Seraphim/Farside, the flip-flopping, ok. But the vote under pressure being a scumtell? I would say Richard gets a point for making the weakest case in history.
His so called gambit failed hard as only one person voted after his please vote me request. Sorry buddy unless there are dumb newb's in this game I don't see anyone falling over it. Plus reading Faraday he expands more on his thoughts on Richard. Not sure about richard more and more.
Richard what do you think of bv310's action and comments so far?Sarcasm is just a way of saying how stupid you think someone is but in a more polite way.-

So what would you consider a scummy reaction from Richard if not this?Anon wrote:
It entirely depends on the way people express that reaction.Sando wrote:Anon, if over-reacting and panicking to a vote(s) isn't scummy, what is a scummy reaction to votes?
Ive seen townies, especially newbies, overreact and panick to a vote, which is prob not the case here since its more likely richard is angry with ckd triple vote. Ive seen scumbags play it cool and not slip until the last moment.
All alignments commit scumtells, the point is that you have to analyse first if its a very reliable scumtell, and second if there are other tells to fight or help the read. That is scumhunting.

You seem to be assuming that he's town. No likey.bv310 wrote:

Seriously, what possible benefit is there to announcing it? If he is, then now he's been outed. If he isn't, then odds are he'll be NK'd and we lose a valuable townie.
