Richard's post disturbs me.
You need to stop wallowing in self-pity and start scumhunting. Honestly, the entire "world against me" attitude is getting so old. Whenever I try to get information to get a read on you, you freak out. If you're town, it's distracting and looks terrible. If you're scum, you are going to get lynched.
Do something about it unless your 'lynch me now' post wasn't a gambit but a desperate plea for attention.-

First is post 253, second is 337.Anon wrote:Scumbags are more likely to overreact to a nonexistent pressure because they are paranoid of being supected/lynched. So yeah, its a scumtell.
Had a change of heart on over-reaction as a scumtell I see...-

As I said, I dont plan to get reactions from people. If somehow they show up because I unconsciously pressed a button, then cool, more information is always useful. I dont plan it, first, because its hard to do, and second because answers are easy to evaluate.ckd wrote:Was your plan to get reactions or not?
Of course it was good. I was mislynched basically due to me buying your aggression as a strong towntell. Yosarian the weak doctor, yes the one everyone agrees with, protected you the next night. How was your scum game not that good?farside wrote:As for Anon it could be he doesn't trust me do to PYP4. But seriously my scum game was not that good.-

If you are in that list and you are a not a lurker, then you are more scummy than average. If you are a lurker, you are also scummy so start freaking posting so I can remove you from that list.-

one anon says "I dont plan to get reactions" the other says "Im asking questions to get reactions"Anon wrote: Both. Pushing for reactions its easy to fake.
Look, farside, Im asking questions and pushing you to get reactions from you. Does that mean Im town? Should I think you are town for doing the same thing?
uhhhhh....please explain or prepare to be voted.-

Hi.
Espeonage is really scummy.
Esp iso 10 wrote:Unvote, Vote: AnonThat scales as one of the very worst read throughs I have ever seen. Even on the site i first started playing on.
So MME stating that Richard hunting is scummy is so win. But Anon, being the original person to bring this theme up in the "worst catch up ever"Espeonage iso 11 wrote:
This post is full of win.My Milked Eek wrote:Lurker hunting is easy to use as scum.
Richard pushing is also easy to use as scum.
I don't like either of these that are happening in this game. I'll take a look at the common factors in these two cases tomorrow. Got a test coming up tomorrow morning and I need some studying.
I wish it was still RVS so I could vote for the Aussie hater. And I see no reason to change my vote so it stays.
and looking at the voters is somehow hellishly awful?Anon wrote:Now, srz bsnss, Richard likely town getting angry. Easy target ftw.
Which means that the people pushing the wagon are more likely to be scum than the average.
Then he tries to justify what was bad about the catch up and his vote to Anon:
This is just blatantly untrue. The catch up had plenty of idea behind it.Esp wrote:Because it [the catch up] is scraping through without content. That isn't good.
Next,Esp wrote:@ Anon: "wagon powers activate" is a stupid thing to say. We were finished with rvs.Esp wrote:Ok Saying somt=ething stupid is a bit undescriptive. You said something that is a stupid thing to say when thying to place a vote. It makes your vote seem like it is based off a whim which is unacceptable anywhere other than RVS.Thosewere acually the things that were wrong in it in Esps opinion. Comes off as pretentious to me; if it was actually this very specific detail of explaining how he chose his vote from the subgroup of three people he was looking at that was suspicious, it's very counter-intuitive to me that he didn't bring that up until much later.
And now he switches his vote like this:
It's almost CSL-esque bandwagoning, but does stink to me.Esp wrote:Unvote, Vote: bv
To many sus things here. I didn't even have a proper case on Anon. So, yeah.
So
vote: Espeonage
Other commentary coming soon.-

Some stuff I want to know:
@Jahudo, you mentioned Boost mafia; did I understand correctly that this is a sequel? If yes, can you explain the mechanic of that game?
@farside:
I kind of went at this. Would you consider yourself a paranoid player in general?farside wrote:CKD: Would you say this is typical reaction from richard? I have a current game I'm thinking of right now and he has flipped town but idk it's like either he's not paying attention to what's going on all over or he's paranoid andI equate paranoid to scum.
The non-poster sideline votes are kinda blah.
Not because lurking doesn't suck and wouldn't be something scum can be more inclined to do on average, but because the votes onpassivelurkers very likely won't achieve anything, certainly not a lynch.
On Richard:
So I was totally on Richard's side at first. Ckd totally comes on as doing a policy hounding thing. That's more reaction inducing than random bandwagoning because it's directly saying YOU SUCK to someone's face. I thought this
and some similar accusations were kind of ridiculous, exaggerating Richard and downplaying ckd.farside 111 wrote: Richard being obsessed with CKD's vote on him is ridiculous. It's one vote. I detect panic in Richards post.
unvote:
vote: Richard
Of course, then he did the "lynch me" thing and I stopped caring/lost my confidence on being able to glean a read there.
So originally did see where he was coming, now not sure but Esp is scummier.
I currently have Sando and Anon down as town.-

Paranoid about who I think is scum, yes. Not paranoid about someone voting me three times. That's just dumb. It was obvious that it was to promote reaction.Ojanen wrote:Some stuff I want to know:

Richard buckled and freaked on one vote. Not several votes, one vote by one person 3 times.Sarcasm is just a way of saying how stupid you think someone is but in a more polite way.-

Ok i need to start paying attention to this game. i have been in lylo in another game and it has been hectic.
I admitted somewhere that my case on Anon wasn't the most solid of things around. That is why I backed off. I needed somewhere to put my vote. The fact that I agree with the case on bv doesn't make me scummy. I can understand how it looks like I just flopped on the wagon but I had nothing to add to the case other than my agreeance with it.Don't @ me.-

Do you find Richard more or less scummy than ABR? Explain your answer.bv310 wrote:ABR, in 17 posts you haven't said anything. Now you're just switching to a townie wagon with no reasoning whatsoever?HoS: ABRAnd no, this is not meta. Most of your games you at least contribute on a cursory level
@Richard: why do you think bv is scum?
@ABR: why do you think bv is scum? What do you think of him HoSing you? Does it make him more or less likely to be scum in your eyes?
@Ojanen: I may have missed it, but you haven't commented on bv310's play at all. What do you think of it? Do you think the wagon on him is justified?-

You didn't answer my question: is Richard more or less scummy than ABR?bv310 wrote:I find them both scummy, but for different reasons. Richard is scummy to me in is reactions to pressure, while ABR is scummy for his lack of contribution and jumping on popular bandwagons. (Although he does seem to play like that in any game I'm in with him)
