You're probably right - I assumed at first that your claim that we'd get to lynch Ani yesterday meant that you'd used some ability which would kill Dramonic and prevent that lynch from ending the Day and then either you did know it would cause him not to flip or didn't or someone else threw a wrench into your action.
But today I was musing and realized that this looks a lot like something that happened in Majora's Mask - a player was allowed to pop out of the game and avoid getting lynched once and then came back in.
