Sens and I were discussing a a Jason/Ani/Raider scumteam vs. a Jason/Jebus/Raider scumteam last night. So I was right about ani:)

I investigated CDB last night, it yielded no results.

@ Scotty what did your results say? Did they match mine or did you get something different?

will answer this and say nothing more. After such time I will say my character name. Depending on his answer could clear him as a third investigator.

I dont think finding the snitch would have had much of an effect. I think the snitch had to find scum first before we could find out from him so even if we investigated the correct snitch unless that player found something first it would have done us no good. Granted this most likely means nothing now but I am still going to be investigating people just in case.

Anyway..I am tired of waiting.... since we are talking about Jebus... Jasons behavior toward him is what catches my eye the most:

Rereading Jason, you can plainly see that he is all over almost any small tell he can. He hounds me and Sens. He jumps on Ani and Fate... but when it comes to Jebus OUTRAGEOUS restriction.. he floats this:

hmmm Jebus post restricted? I am beginning to think this however his post 198 actually makes me think he has been gagged and can only post votes given his mouth taped up picture.

Gagged? who has even ever heard of that role?
Anyway, he comes back to it here:

Here's the rub: Jason knew this wasn't true.
He knew that Jebus was not targeted by some obscure scum-role. (though I would like to get this confirmed by Jebus himself)

My idea? I have played with them both. I have played both sides against Jason (incidentally scum-sweeps both times, IIRC).
In a different game, Jebus was a filthy lurker, and I can't remember what his alignment turned out to be.
So I think Jason, as decent scum, came up with this idea of painting Jebus as a 'victim' of a scum-role so as to give him a town-excuse for his lurky behavior.

I can't think of any other reason for him to mention it at all. What scum motivation is there for making up this story?

So... that said, I support a Jebus lynch, unless he can prove to me that he has something to add to this game.
In the unlikely event he is town, he is unconfirmed with no established posts for us to look at... thus he is a liability.

camn: it seems to me that if both Jebus and Jason were scum, either Jebus was legitimately restricted and Jason cooked up that story to make Jebus come off more town because he knew he wouldn't be able to post, or they planned for Jebus to fake his restriction and for Jason to use the silencer story to legitimise it. I don't see Jebus-scum deciding to only post pictures and Jason-scum making up the silencer story completely on the fly. The problem I see with the theory is that Jason actually specifically quoted an article that states the same person can't be silenced two days running, so as soon as everyone realised that nobody else had been silenced the day after, it stops being an excuse. The only possible benefit I see there for Jason-scum if Jebus is town is that it's a somewhat elaborate role-fish; if Jebus comes out and denies the existence of the silencer he would probably then be pressed to explain more about his role, which could be useful for scum.

If he could sell the idea, then Jebus could avoid a lurker-lynch.

I was scum in a game that jason played that had a mafia silencer and used it to fake a silence on myself But with that said, I'm not sure that's what happened here, simply because Jebus seems able to talk and no one else is "gagged". I really want to hear what he has to say about the game. I also want him to explain his post restriction in as much detail as possible, as soon as possible.
